I think Elam will be used very judiciously this year. He is very tall and I would think has a problem staying down at 197. I've stood next to him and would say he's over 6'4". I was a little suprised he didn't move up to heavyweight this year. He might have moved if he would had a magical redshirt year left to gain good weight this year and wrestle heavy next year. I'm just speculating though, I have no inside information.

I agree that they shouldn't just put the camera on the discus ring and broadcast it, but they could clip together more than one throw.

I was a better than average high school shot putter/discus thrower and sometimes JV sprinter. I married a college 400 meter hurdler/sprinter. So I've been to quite a few meets. Similar to wrestling, I think if the programmers would spend a couple of minutes explaining the intricacies of the event, the field events are more interesting. The other problem with the field events, like wrestling, is that there is no set schedule as to when the individual athlete will perform.

Watched the Track and Field Olympic Trials last night. They basically refused to show any of the field events. They showed 3 woman's long jump attempts, 3 woman's shot put throws and 1 men's discus throw. Meanwhile they showed every heat of the sprints and hurdles and all 40 laps of the women's 10000 meters. There were basically no lead changes for 39 laps. I really don't understand what the programmers think we are interested in.

I think a lot of people when they refer to the "stolen election " narrative are referring to the one sided media coverage.

Defensive Tackle is the right position for him. It requires a quick reaction and first step, the ability to lower your level and explode from low to high. You need to be able to use your hands to keep the o-lineman off of you. Steveson is exactly the same size as Aaron Donald. Obviously he doesn't have the same experience. Chances are that the Bills will not be able to be patient enough to develop him. Also no one has any idea how fast he is, though reaction time and first step is more important to a Defensive Tackle

You all are forgetting about Title IX! There'll be football, mens basketball and 6-9 women's sports. All other college sports will be gone. Equity is the law.

It is hard to be upset about officiating of a sport that doesn't have any set rules. I kid..I kid...kind of.

O'Toole just announced that he's out because of injury.

All the wrestlers at the Big 10 tournament are going to double default so they don't take a chance in getting injured for NCAA. It's the new strategy.

The two all American linebackers in 2023 were 6'0 230 and 6'4" 238. Kueter is an average size linebacker.
