    I only said it half joking that Hamiti shot because he heard the ref call the 1. It just irks me that refs make the call for the ESC and then walk it back based on what happens after they have decided on the 1. You ever see this on a call for a FALL? Same ref could have waived off his own FALL based on the same logic he used to waive off his ESC, but that never happens. The solution is to not give the 1pt until you are certain it happened, and once you call it then it stands.

    Ref blew another call imo. He awarded Hamiti an ESC and then when Hamiti shot back in he waived off the ESC. Once you make that call and the wrestler can hear it and reacts to it then you shouldn't waive it off. I mean, ref thought it was an ESC, so it was an ESC. The fact he shot right back ... Hamiti was penalized there. That call on the pin was lightening quick. Touch fall, not 1 second at all.

    I think Seibrecht showed he is on Model's level right now, whereas when Haines wrestled Model I think Haines showed he was up a level from Model. Maybe Seibrecht will present problems for Haines but my gut reaction is that Haines will prove too much.

    Bear Claw gets taken down and 2 with 3 seconds to go. Saldate is a little better than the Bear Claw.

    Scorer could not keep pace with the points there in period 3. Van Ness had a TF in his back pocket before that pin.

    That Steen pity thread worked wonders, then I think Jimmy posted that Iowa had more bonus scorers than PSU and that seems top be working too. PSU staff is adjusting things.

    Bartlett was really working there at the end to come up with the needed points to get a major. They are focusing on bonus pts.

    RBY gets the fall, then Bartlett attempts a Bow and Arrow which I have not seen from him b4. Maybe PSU working on pinning guys today.

    He looks a little quicker in neutral and a little stronger on top. Last year he was undersized and lost a ton of close matches. There is a little something to be said about the weight clearing out and he hasn't faced the better 141's yet, but he looks better to me. I'm sure Real Woods will beat him but that won't change anything as I don't think he is a #1 guy, just that he is better at 141 than he was at 149.

    Hardy had a cradle but not tight, so Woods rolled thru and had Hardy on his back. Reversal plus 2 mf.
