  1. Or a quick google and the first two years preceding tOSU on the list were hosted by Wisconsin and Illinois haha . . . whoops; it's early
  2. Yes, I know that's much more common in the spring sports that also rotate alphabetically - due to a lack of facilities to host say Big Ten Outdoor Track or if championship weekend lines up w/ spring commencement etc. No inside info here but I could see Wisconsin historically have declined due to potential overlap w/ MBB/WBB/MIH since they would all operate out of the Kohl center (Big Ten tourney weekend for wrestling I think is opening weekend of Big Ten hockey tourney which is on campus by seed and also last week of conference basketball games)
  3. It's largely an alphabetical rotation; Penn St got it again so soon after 2021 cause of not being able to have fans in 2021. There are some missteps in the rotation but since 2015 it's gone: Ohio St Iowa Indiana Michigan St Minneapolis Rutgers Penn St Nebraska Michigan Maryland Northwestern Penn St If I had to guess? 2027 would be held at Purdue
  4. I voted 2015 but I loved me some Bryce Meredith; really wanted him to finish top of the podium once
  5. I concur about i81 - no matter when you are on it it's just a truck scatterpoint - can't get into a flow at all
  6. Anyone know what happened here? Isn't his brother going there to coach? or is that an internet rumor that isn't true?
  7. Do we know why Sinclair is out?
  8. Since he injury defaulted out of Oly Trials last year 2 minutes into the competition it's impossible to say for sure . . . but also fair to say until he goes out and does something I wouldn't bet on him
  9. Looks like UNI did indeed land a home visit w/ Hayden Schwab
  10. and from what we've heard about the situation at Campbell I get it and why they are all relocating but they were a really feisty and scrappy SoCon team for a bit there; genuine tough outs top to bottom - I made a point to always have an eye on the Campbell kids at NCAAs cause they wouldn't go down easy and could pull an upset. really a bummer they'll be a shell of that to no fault of the wrestling program itself
  11. Man it feels like Campbell lost more guys than Cleveland St . . . that ain't good
  12. I'm with you there - but admittedly I'm biased as a former wrestler who's best skill by far was Leg riding on top and rolling around; terrible translation to Freestyle
  13. To be fair . . . his second year at NCAAs he was a minute and half into his first match (tied at 0) and messed up his knee and defaulted out. So two of those losses are Inj Def/Med FF That being said I blame Bono for that too
  14. He should still have 2 years of eligibility no?
  15. I blame Bono for the Amos stuff; never should have been 197 - let him eat and be a heavyweight and I bet he's got much better results.
  16. I honestly took it as good natured braggadocio across the Ivies
  17. Feel this was an unnecessary shot at Brown . . . But I'm certainly not smart enough for any Ivy League school so take my thoughts w/ a grain of salt
  18. He was just hired as an assistant coach w/ Bellarmine so that would be where Knights comes from
  19. He made the finals of the US Open this year losing to Kamal Bey; Greco used the US Open as their entire process for the World Team
  20. *then? Maybe? I never understood that rule
  21. The portal was simple to understand than when Buchanan/Parco/Teemer moved w/o entering the portal that just opened up chaos and now nothing makes sense
  22. I think Ryan Holmes said he was pretty set on going home to Chattanooga but someone reached out to him late and he wanted to at least check it out; no idea who that institution is though
  23. Thanks - I think it actually works on both ends but we'll see what happens
  24. Kikiniou loses 1 -1 on criteria off all passivity points . . . boooooo
  25. Kinkiniou takes his turn on the clock now; nearly gets a step out but no dice - tied at 1
