  1. Ok, I know we don’t care for one another but that made me laugh!
  2. I asked the same question but didn’t get an answer….let me continue reading on to see someone knows….
  3. After his incredible performance at the tournament by Caliendo he deserves what ever weight he’s most comfortable at next season.
  4. What is this in response to bnw? I think the mods here are really very tolerant of freedom of speech in this forum, probably the most I’ve seen anywhere.
  5. I’ve always liked this guy.
  6. Dark Energy digging deep in thought and doing a great job encapsulating in a few thoughtful paragraphs how many feel about what’s happening to this sport we all love. $$$$ used in a way that controls and influences always poisons virtually everything it touches. Excellent post DE.
  7. My nominee is Jimmy Cinnabon, a knowledgeable 5 star wrestling fan who clearly loves the sport, who’s on top of trends, knowledgeable and thought provoking and objective all at the same time. The guy also takes it on the chin better than anyone by never firing back, yet is still committed to doing his thing unimpeded.
  8. You could call it a premier forum among the few actively participating almost daily. But what about the 100’s maybe 1000’s of lurkers who choose not to participate. Do you think they consider your forum premier? Perhaps, but like anything else in life there’s room for improvement. Increase participation by encouraging new thoughts and ideas from existing sign-ups while attracting new sign-ups, both men and women - and equally as important ban, outright ban any comments about race, religion and politics and this place for D1 college wrestling goes off the charts.
  9. Now that I find fascinating! Beautiful red results and the paste sounds delicious! Nice garden too! I grew up on Long Island and my Dad got me invoked at an early age, however after taking a job transfer to the mid Atlantic, my home in central PA was surrounded by trees and the canopy prevented direct sunlight needed for growth. Just bought a new home elsewhere with lots of natural sunlight so this year I get to resurrect skills from long ago. Thanks for sharing that Gene - such a great tradition you’re following since the late 1970’s!
  10. This is the first I’m learning of this. Now I’m looking forward to watching his freestyle results!
  11. First I’ve seen this. Jimmy C’s assessment of this fine young man was right on the money.
  12. Did you notice he shaved off his ‘stache midway into the tournament? Nice tribute JC
  13. Hey Flo, put this guy on your payroll, and pay him what ever the eff he wants. Incredible analysis wrestle…seriously. You should send this to Nebraskas coaching staff.
  14. Caught myself…wrote something, then said to self - nope, not going there again and hit the back key.
  15. Has a non stoppable single leg take down too
  16. Excited to see if this actually happens
  17. yea I’m not the greatest at gardening either. Never thought of San Marzano seeds, in fact I’ve never seen seeds for this type. Many US companies mass produce canned tomatoes under the name San Marzano but only those stamped DOT (designation of origin) imported from Italy are the real deal. Farms near Mount Vesuvius where their imported from claim the volcanic soil sets them apart as far as taste than all other tomato types. A bit sweeter and my Dad always had imported SM cans on hand along with dried mushrooms and other imports.
  18. Lisa I forgot about Ono. Are you picking Ayala over Ono?
  19. Ono - are we sure he starts next year?
  20. All excellent picks Lisa. I especially like your 184 and 285 projections.
  21. What part of the country Gene? Here in PA planting season typically begins on or about Mothers Day - a time of the year free of any potential frost. What types of tomatoes do you enjoy? My top two are Roma and Beefsteak.
