    Tough day for the Hawkeyes, I wonder if those guys have been working too hard? Joey Cruz is out of NCAAs, I think, unless he gets some sort of at large invitation.

    At the risk of sounding like AJ Ferrari, he's in a lot worse room than he used to be, plus he barely beat Carter Young, who I've always said is an R16 guy. He's got a pretty good record though and avenged losses to a couple ranked guys who beat him earlier, so maybe he's jumped up a level.

    Highly possible. The question is why would he want to go to college here when Japan has colleges that are just as good and a lot closer. If he was getting paid big NIL bucks I'm sure that could be a tipping point.

    Remove the weight cap on HWT and the fat boys will return to wrestling, especially with all the tasty NIL money out there to be had. I'd rather do that than add a watered down 220 pound weight class to college since 220 is arguably the weakest weight class in HS wrestling already.

    No other team will come within 50 points of Penn State at NCAAs. B1G will be closer than NCAAs, but PSU will win that easily as well.

    I can't believe the Hawkeyes don't have a badass at 141. Would love to see Schriever qualify for NCAAs though.

    Remember Matt Brown at PSU? I think he was 25 when he won a title. He had some religious mission that allowed him to pump iron for a couple years before he started college

    FIgures Cornell would recruit him, Cornell always recruits thugs! I remember watching a Cornell thug physically assault Frank Molina at the NCAA tournament one time. He rode him for 7 minutes and was doing that "stop punching yourself" thing to Frank. Disgusting.

    Damn, that's too bad, he's only got one more chance to AA after this year. I think he's a sold R16 guy, but he can get hot and beat enough guys to AA. What kind of injury?
