  1. This is a new one. The usual playbook response about this I’m seeing is that Biden was the one that approved using Signal in the first place
  2. Something along the lines of he wasn’t that good as a junior in HS and they were the only school that offered him a scholarship I believe. Made a big jump as a senior but wanted to honor his commitment for the first year
  3. Which was an obvious lie. Or are you just arguing we’re not sure when he’s actually telling the truth?
  4. He didn’t specifically say it was due to the initials, but after the nonsense about the number getting “sucked in,” he ultimately admitted that “the person I thought was on the chat, wasn’t.” Here is the quote from Vance. Not a great thing to go public IMO Again not confirmed it was a mistake because of the initials, but the screenshots do show that Goldberg just appeared on the chat as “JG,” so IMO it is the most likely scenario of how he “thought he had invited someone else”
  5. lol he really lobbed that one up there
  6. I mean, he could have just had his contact because Goldberg may have tried to get comment for a hit piece or something…
  7. Take off the tinfoil hat dude. Goldberg got invited because Waltz meant to invite someone with the same initials. Waltz acknowledged he did it himself. Not to mention it’s debatable this chat “frames the US as strong.” It shows the VP disagreeing with the President
  8. Even if you think Mesenbrink was more dominant (I’d disagree of course), it’s not by much, and that’s just one of the criteria. Hendrickson’s quality of competition was far superior. Schultz took third, and that was his third best win, yet he has a better resume than anyone Mesenbrink beat. Mesenbrink’s “B1G schedule” included Maryland’s starter that was 2-16, and Michigan State’s that was 9-14, plus non conference duals with traditional powers like Drexel and American. The only NQ’s from the B1G that he wrestled prior to conferences were Caliendo, Mantanona, and Scoles. And he only wrestled 2 other NQ’s in total before conferences. Hendrickson beat 5 NQ’s (by tech, first period pin or injury default) at CKLV alone. But, I will say it’s kinda cool for him that he received multiple forfeits from teams that had guys at his weight, and basically even got one from Ohio State in the B1G tournament, which is evidence of his dominance.
  9. C’mon, saying “smaller schools will continue to lose damn near every single one of their AA caliber wrestlers” is hyperbole. Yea, “the thought” might be will a guy from a smaller school enter the portal, but they’re not always going to. Depending on how we define “smaller school,” the last “smaller school” champ was probably Andrew Alirez and he stayed put (yes they probably had to pay him to do that). Looking at past results, when was the last smaller school champ before that? 2010 if we count Harvard? If not, 2009 (Edinboro)? The point is there has never been parity in terms of more than a few teams having a chance to win. I’ve said this line before but really the only gap that’s growing is the one between PSU and everyone else. There has seemed to be a lot of variation between 2-5 in recent years however.
  10. Spencer Moore allegedly to Presbyterian where his wife wrestles
  11. Willie on Basch says Rider’s David Szuba to Arizona State. Says ASU will also likely be in on AJ, in addition to Iowa State and possibly UNC
  12. Chittum was the only guy that started this year right? Do they still have Echemendia coming back?
  13. Well pretty sure Levi Haines did
  14. Maybe not Hamiti, but he and O’Toole are friends aren’t they?
  15. But you don’t actually think the qualify of completion is comparable do you? I know it’s not his fault (honestly him being there could be part of the reason why O’Toole and/or Hamiti bumped up), but Hendrickson’s competition blows his out of the water. Mesenbrink didn’t wrestle anyone that had been in a national final prior to this year, and Caliendo and Amine are the only prior AA’s he wrestled (with Minto being the only additional one this year), and he had a total of 3 decisions against them. Hendrickson had to beat 2 champions, a prior finalist, a prior AA (got 6 team points), plus 2 additional guys that earned AA this year (pinning one of them twice and teching the other).
  16. Mesenbrink is a distant 3rd IMO. Zero pins and the worst competition
  17. Waltz is clearly lying about saying he never had Goldberg’s contact info of course
  18. After the gibberish about it “getting sucked in” (lol), he acknowledges that “the person I thought was on the chat wasn’t”
  19. Waltz invited him, this has been confirmed. Most likely he was trying to invite someone else with the same initials.
  20. It was after last season, I’m counting that as this season
