  1. 125 should be excluded
  2. Thanks for sharing @ionel. Did he wrestle at Cal Poly?
  3. Just saw a Dresser interview where he addressed it and sounds like he is still on the team. Also found this: https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/sports/college/iowa-state/wrestling/2024/02/22/iowa-state-wrestling-kysen-terukina-violates-probation-may-wrestle-against-missouri/72696938007/
  4. Saw this tongue twister recently: “He knew he was in trouble. When you get in trouble, when you’re in trouble is when you don’t know you’re in trouble, and so when you get in trouble and if you know you’re in trouble then you always end up on top”
  5. The rulebook disagrees with you
  6. Does anyone else find it odd that Pyle will “thank” the guys in India that post these illegal streams, while FloKaren will get parents posting their kids matches to YouTube taken down?
  7. Gotta say I love this rule. I think it should apply to more than just true freshmen. These matches count on their official career record right?
  8. I wouldn’t have hated if they called that, but gun to my head I’d say that TD was not imminent
  9. Does this mean he’s healthier? If so, then why the neck brace?
  10. I would think it’d be more likely to be a younger or scrawnier guy, like Davis, Stanich, or Ayala
  11. I don’t see him making the semis, but I could certainly see him knocking off someone that many people would pick to do so
  12. I think the official explanation for Bartlett/Hardy was technically that the ref thought Bartlett was indicating he was injured… Different situations of course but I believe Askren’s argument was potentially dangerous shouldn’t exist at all. Starocci kinda just proved it should. Edit: but you should be called for stalling if you put yourself in a potentially dangerous situation more than once.
  13. I believe Willie said that Larkin was “getting really big,” but not sure exactly how big…
  14. If he wins Pac 12’s he should get a top 10 seed, probably even better. Of course would still be a good value there if he wins
  15. Yeah watching that a few times, Starocci definitely did that to himself
  16. Wasn’t that Joey Silva, representing Puerto Rico?
  17. Agree. Would be nice to see Teske AA, that guy has had quite the journey in college.
  18. 1 year suspension. There is chatter that he is planning to get a medical RS for 2022
  19. There’s been some inconsistency in how it’s called like all stalling calls, but overall I do think the rule change has resulted in more action from the mat
  20. Was a reason given for no Crookham against ASU? Weren’t he and Chlebove from the same area in HS?
  21. Crazy to me that Kurt McHenry only has 18 total D1 matches in 5 years (with 11 of them last season). I know he’s small, but he shouldn’t be losing to a true freshman from Binghamton
  22. Not sure why you deleted your post, that time you posted is really impressive. Sounds like you could’ve made 197 in college then though
  23. What about Ben?
  24. This is exactly what I thought of after seeing this clip. If the ref calls PD a second earlier here, this may not have happened. But if he did you’d have had people complaining that he shouldn’t have stopped it. Edit: I do wonder if Askren would put this in the category of “he did this to himself” though. He kinda did, by stepping over then turning back, but it seemed like it was the opponent getting to his stomach (which obviously is what he should have been trying to do), that caused the injury.
  25. Are we counting redshirts? If not, as much love as some of PSU’s backups have gotten, I doubt they’d crack the top 20 or so (which of course is still impressive). Barraclaugh and Cochran look like they’d have a good shot at AA’ing, and maybe Evans, but that’s about it. But if you count redshirts you can add Facundo and Barr.
