Watched a few videos on this. He was never charged with the murder for hire, and his sentence was longer than actual murder for hire sentences and no one was even murdered. I’m good with the pardon. He ran the website but he wasn’t actually selling drugs except for some mushrooms when the site first launched. The guys actually selling the drugs got much lower sentences. Ben Askren seemed very pumped about this. Ulbricht was basically the first person to give an actual use for bitcoin which I believe was the only payment method on the site. Kinda funny that people spent amounts of bitcoin that are now worth $1 million+ on some weed.
