  1. i would rather see overtime be one person on the clock and the other gets to defend the whole time. just for overtime have pushout rule. then other guy gets one min. no stall calls. lets see who can avoid the take down. jk
  2. Stop watching the MSM and look at what is happening. Ono is fine, and so is anyone who respects the law.
  3. The mouthpiece is a financial decision. Follow the money, and I bet Pyles of cash that some company is writing a check to push such an equipment mandate. # of wrestlers 4-40 yrs old that will need one and a backup, and a replacement for the lost one, and as you grow, you need more. You also need the newest and coolest ones. A championship mouthpiece for the finals. Now you get more tired since you can't breathe well, causing more stalling and blah blah blah. Fix what's not broke \
  4. Riding time stalls are already based too much on referee discretion and should be left alone. I don't enjoy the way they keep pushing folkstyle towards the TDWrestling
  5. Get rid of any unsportsmanlike behavior with equipment at the end of a match. promote celebrations and grow the sport. Or continue to try and keep it relevant when WWE, UFC, Pride, opening ceremonies of most events are entertaining. Make wrestling entertaining before the boost from female wrestling wears off, and we are back to trying to save or make it financially not a burden.
  6. push outs really suck and atleast in sumo it is more fun watching giants in diapers than athletes playing king of the mountain on a flat mats. I don't care for stalling calls either, unless it is truly running away or just keeping your toe in so you can be considered in bounds and burn clock.
  7. Don't forget the other giant debt-causing machine. Those far to easy to get credit card volchers that have been on campuses sucking the souls of kids since they started giving kick backs to colleges, just for prime time and location to the students.
  8. More muscle mass requires more O2. You can wrestle weaker but not without oxygen. Weight cuts were more common than weight management. That leads to lower hydration, which would cause muscles to appear larger (bodybuilders are known to dehydrate before a show). More focus on winning with skills and not just brute force. I don't know where you are from, but I see far more shoulder braces than knee braces. The defense of stopping the shot and going behind or reattacking has led to guys holding on to a leg, and getting extended are the injuries I see most. The weight management system also makes it hard to lose weight as quickly as in the past. Reasons mentioned already I agree with. Olympic-style lifts have become the main lifting program in most high schools and possibly colleges as well. It replaced the curl, bench, and shoulder workouts of the 90s.
  9. Just use the red and green arm bands to represent home and away or go to black(dark) and white(gray after a day) for home and away. Football can do it with jerseys and the guys kind of like putting on their gear and preparing to battle. Not that hard even for average intelligence like myself to figure out. Actually dont know to many college level events where people running the score board need to know the color of the arm band to know who scored.
  10. I like the idea
  11. does anyone know if he been to a Diddy party?
  12. which squad will throw out the youngest team?

  14. This would be a little lopsided but it is my thought. Why not have NIL (by name) be more of a contractual option that if an athlete is to take money from anyone. They must disclose it and the current school is given the option to match that contract to stay. Make it more transparent.
