A former top 5 recruit that never panned out. I remember him debuting at 133 and had a win over Arizona St. (I may have been Courtney?) After that, he just struggled to maintain a spot in the lineup. Wishing him the best of luck.

Very true. I think he'd be a good fit at Cornell. Some weights would have to be shifted around of course but he would just make the possible #2 team entering next season even stronger.

It seems like with all the COVID year/extra year, etc. There aren't many student athletes officially being "done" with their college wrestling careers? Looks to be a much bigger drop off next season. With that said, I think we see a lot of changes in weights & some battles internally between returning starters and athletes coming off RS or into their true freshman year.

If Bouzakis has a 0% chance to make 125 (probably the case) Buckeyes must hit the transfer portal. No chance Gonzales or McCrone are viable options next year. If Sasso bumps to 157, I think Hepner mans 165 unless Paddy makes big strides this off season. Would really like to see Geog move down to 184 for a season. If not, surely someone out of Shumate/Welch/Rogotzke can be a viable contender. I'll definitely be keeping a closer eye on the portal this year more than I have recently, but I feel like that's becoming the norm for most of us.
