MM, Barr and Jax my preseason top 3 and anyone's shot to win the Hodge. Now I think I have to throw Bassett into this mix.

Quick thoughts, crazy busy weekend. Thanks to those providing updates on here. Bouzakis won't succeed at 141. He probably shouldn't cut to 125, and there's someone named Davino at 133. Wish I saw more out of Brown to give me hope. Smith- Out all last year, I think he's shaking off some rust. Would like to see Rogotzke keep this momentum, Shumate may be out all year. Think Kilkeary will be just fine at 125. He's clearly the best at the weight in the Bucks room. An overall disappointing weekend at the Clarion Open if you're a Buckeyes fan.

And he's also in the team photo!

He's currently listed on the teams roster (149) and in the team picture on the Ohio St Wrestling homepage. Although i'd love to see him vs Bassett, 149 is better team wise, and has the potential for several great matchups in March including possible revenge against Vega.

Speaking of Ryan Lang his tech fall loss in the NCAA finals to Derek Moore probably fits well in to this category.

Ventresca ate this summer.

If he keeps getting knocked out in the 1st round he will just turn into a laughing stock, hopefully he gets some softer matches so he sticks around, I have been enjoying the argument between Willie Mat Scout vs. Ben Davis on X regarding Gable.

Gable not making any friends amongst the MMA crowd.

Looks like Freeman and his kid know about a "TD" https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/marcus-freeman-rips-media-dragging-220744675.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAD1n6eOyzJTN1jWuvozxZs92kbIjy01SO65txqKUC9PE8AT32eft8RuaeHhGDPrW_voegP3faE-O1tXzbAKoW8rXVAx_ZLNRLMrbrQeL8rroWV1XpcSCOLiQz89E0NUFXx4RfkiJmZCXjwbRbG2YsANOlam0ZqdI2Rh_LtaupLX5

Pyles still a greedy son of a gun.

Hope it's cheap. We know Pyles loves money.

I'd just put Barr above him. Both dominant Barr more accolades since he's older.

Local Ohio wrestling forum stating Jesse Mendez is listed on the wrestling roster on tOSU's website and E'than Birden is not: https://ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports/wrestling/roster apologies if this was already reported.

Is Ono still at Penn St? Is he slated to start at 133 making that weight class even tougher?!?!?!?

Just watch Ono vs Davino. Damn. Never seen Davino so shut down before.

Cleveland baby!

Is Penn state going to or ever enter the National Duals? Wouldn't have to schedule an extra dual with Okie St that way.

Wait a Ferrari making news drama-related? That's a new one!

I think Stiles will take the spot. Better mat wrestler with more offense. Birden appears to be a more defensive type. I say a chance to AA because 165 is one of the weaker weights this season. MM effect.

We must be!

Based on the new rulings and TR interview setting up for this season: 125: Bouzakis. KIlkeary will wrestle a bulk of the matches through the season 133: Davino 141: Mendez 149: Kade Brown 157: Cannon 165: Stiles 174: Smith 184: Waters 197: Shumate HVY: Feldman Overall a much stronger team if Mendez is back. I am going with Waters at 184 because I think hes that good. AA's- 133, 141, 157, 174 HVY I think OSU can AA at 125 165 and 197. 149 and 184 Hopefully round of 16 type. I like Waters but that weight is so deep and Brown hasn't shown me enough to think he can break through the top 10-12, maybe Shaw makes this weight and gives Brown some comp. Seeing a 5th or 6th place finish in March.

When I simulated for the first time for the Buckeyes I also ended up with 78.5

He can't take a RS based off of these new rules from what I understand. I think it wouldn't benefit Shapiro to take one if he was able, prime HEW candidate, IMO.

Maybe hes unhappy about his ESPY loss. (Kidding) But really, I can think of a few college wrestlers who were nominated for College Athlete of the Year, but of course lose out to the Heisman trophy winner each time. ESPN and the ESPYS have really gone downhill.

There's a name I hadn't seen/heard in awhile. Two good coaches that I think fit well in the MAC. Good for Coach Greenlee.
