    When my dad and I were looking over NCAA brackets last year we were a bit struck at the depth in each weight class. Might be recency bias but there were a lot of hammers last year.

    The majority of field corn is used for livestock feed & ethanol production - over 60%. The remaining corn is used in food production (corn syrup, corn flakes, corn starch, etc), exported overseas, used in manufacturing or carried over in surplus.

    That’s a possibility but he still got smashed in that match.

    Askren said Mirasola’s are going to be 197/hwt and I’m not convinced either has proven to be a better prospect that Barr up to this point. Facundo will be in the mix at 174 presumably. Sealy did not look like a very big 160 at WNO last week so I think he probably projects in at 157 unless he hits a growth spurt

    Golf is soccer with a smaller ball and you use a modified hockey sick but you hit the ball into a small hole in the ground instead of a net.

    Barr's path to starting is much more straightforward than the middle weights. Starocci has two years available but has yet to determine is he is going to use them. Truax is a stopgap for this year only. So Barr could slide in at 174 after this year for Starocci or grow into 184. Barr was a top 10 P4P recruit.

    I agree that is sometimes the only logical thing to do but in a lot of cases unions are encouraging dairies to dump to protect the price. Unions suck.

    I'm not so sure that it is directly US gov related and more related to the unions that the food processors belong to. They will do anything to "protect the price of their product". So if there is over production, rather than momentarily lower the price, they will dispose of the product and the union will pay for it.

    If I remember correctly, Bailey O'Reilly used to wake up early before school and do chores on his family dairy farm. Bailey was from Minnesota, which borders Canada.

    In my opinion the biggest game changer for chicken (at least white meat) is to soak it in a brine or inject with a brine. I keep my brines simple and just boil water with salt, pepper and sugar. I let the brine cool and then typically inject the chicken before cooking it. Give it a shot and it will be the juiciest, most delicious chicken you have ever made.

    And the $1M house you now own, if you want to sell it... you will have to take your proceeds to buy another $1M+ home and it will come with a higher interest rate and more debt.

    It will be a big hit for team USA's title hopes. If Paris is going, he at least has a chance to bring home a medal though.

    There is a bit of a logjam with their recruits in the middle weights but it seems like the cream always rises to the top. I'm not sure what weight class best suits Sealey in college. He does not seem like a large 160 pounder.

    He certainly has went on a tear since then.. Will be interesting to see if his freestyle accolades yield as high of folkstyle results. He is a fun one to watch.

    Yes, Sealey did beat Ryder at Super 32 in 2021 at 152. That weight class was won by Nicco Ruiz and featured Sealey, Ryder, Angelo Ferrari, Mitchell Mesenbrink among others. You could be onto something with Cole Mirasola. If he plans to go heavyweight, he will have the path of least resistance for all the recruits. I put him last on my list because I think he's a tweener size wise and may struggle with the size of the heavyweights. I'm sure he will prove me wrong though...
