  1. The best seat in the house is always your own couch
  2. Hey, definitely off topic but thought I'd mention it here rather than start a whole new thread: did you guys know Nic Bazoukis has a sister that wrestles? She's sneaky too, I saw her pull off some freaky looking assassin type pin against another girl. I wonder if Nic taught her some of her moves, or maybe their dad taught them both?
  3. Wow, that's pretty shitty. I bet there are some solid kids in the OKC metro area that could roll with his kid. Tuttle is only 26 miles away, and produced Dustin Plott, among others. How did Roselli's kid do, anyway? Is he wrestling D1 now like a lot of kids from Tuttle?
  4. Are you actually at the conference tournament in person? If so, I envy you.
  5. I was one of those guys he fooled. I saw what he did at Columbia and thought "if he could do that THERE imagine what he could do with OU's resources". Man, what a disappointment that was. The best OU did under him was 9th at NCAAs, but that was still miles ahead of the D2 type program they have there now.
  6. I'd rather have Bono than Lou Roselli. At least Bono has name recognition and snagged some elite wrestlers. I don't think Lou ever got anybody in the top 100 recruiting rankings at OU.
  7. He's terrible. I was stoked over OU hiring Lou, but he was a terrible coach. I never heard of Lou badmouthing Okie HS wrestling, but I noticed that none of his wrestlers ever got better. What good is a wrestling coach if he can't make his wrestlers better? Look at how the guys who transferred out of OU are improving at their new schools (Mantanona, Moore).
  8. I hear Mark Cody is looking for a new gig.
  9. Just think, he's going to be the first 7 timer!
  10. TWO Rogotzkes! How did I not notice there were two of them? How did those guys end up at different schools, I'm assuming they are brothers.
  11. You said who else thinks Mesenbrink got screwed?
  12. Pfft. You don't know who Starocci is? According to the Big 10 brackets he's a Redshirt Freshman at PSU He's so good he won 3 NCAA titles before his RS Fr year, apparently
  13. You are kidding, right? Mesenbrink will tech his first opponent and major Caliendo to get to the finals. I'm looking forward to Mesenbrink/Hamiti. Both aggressive dudes always working for points. Can Mesenbrink counter Hamiti's length, and can Hamiti neutralize Mesenbrink's offense? Fans love matchups like that, I'm sure everybody in this forum is jacked over this potential matchup. I'm picking Hamiti in a dogfight but Cael will have Mesenbrink coached up. I literally would believe almost anything could happen in a match between guys like this, kinda like Hearns/Hagler back in the day. Pure aggression, and maybe somebody will get pinned early. Of course sometimes expectations exceed the actual results, and we may end up with an unexpectedly low scoring 2-0 win, like Carr over Hamiti!!
  14. You know guys get sharper over the course of the season. Ramos looks a lot better to me than he did earlier in the year.
  15. Want me to give your brain jar back ?
  16. I can't remember much about Downey. I think he finished 5th or something like that at NCAAs one year. Why do you despise him?
  17. Oh, Jimmy Cinnabon. LOL.
  18. I'll be kinda surprised if Olejnik makes the podium. His results have dropped off a lot since the early part of the season.
  19. This year, yeah, but Hamiti still hasn't wrestled Cam Amine this year and Amine has shockingly beaten Hamiti every time they wrestled in the past. Mesenbrink majored Amine this year. But I get it, last year's results aren't supposed to matter.
  20. It's not hard for me to wrap my mind around it. Tom is a dumb guy
  21. I was pretty surprised that Hamiti has never beaten Cam Amine (he hasn't wrestled him this year). Mesenbrink spanked Amine. Has Amine regressed or something?
  22. I want whatever you guys have been smoking. Is it indica? Tell me it's indica.
  23. He's beaten a few good guys, but I'm surprised he's unbeaten and seeded under Hamiti who has a loss (even though it's a close loss to Carr). Yeah, I know Hamiti has been pretty good this year as well.
