  1. I was looking at Jacob frosts results last year and he lost to Kyler Larkin 10-8 in an open tournament. Larkin is very very good but hes been holding down 61kg so losing to an undersized high schooler who still takes some losses (forrest at boarder brawl 10-6 I believe forrest bumped up it was at like 135) Bassett once and davino twice give me a little pause.
  2. A redshirt would do him well he needs to expand his offense on his feet a bit to go with his pace and improve on the mat a smidge.
  3. Im expecting Frost to be better next year he made crazy jumps from year 1 to 2 I think it is a pretty solidified top 5 to me Crookham,Bailey,Ragusin,Shawver,Frost. Yarbrough exploited nagaos inability to defend leg attacks but overall his season was not very impressive and Orine has kind of been the same guy the last two years. Wells will likely improve a ton as only a true freshman I would probably put them in that 6-8 range with McGonagle,Nagao and throw Hughes in there as well.
  4. I did not see Merrill in at 97 hes my pick.
  5. u20's 57kg: Lilledahl (Would love to see Jax win it but I think running the gauntlet to make the finals and then taking two from Luke seems like a very difficult task) 61kg: Marcus Blaze (ben davino beat him at ironman in ride outs but Blaze has just looked absolutely unreal and I just watched a video of him training with Micic where it looked like he was holding his own. Nasir Bailey is also a huge landmine for these guys but I think this high school talent is just unreal right now) 65kg: Bo (was a bit underwhelmed with lemley at u20's considering the wins he had this folk season I think Valencia makes the finals again but while I think he can win one I don't see him winning two against Bo given hes currently 0-2) 70kg: Antrell Taylor (I don't think we will get to see the future teammate match of Duke vs Kasak. Taylor had a great year up at 165 which was not his natural weight, He made the open and trials finals last year at 74 I think hes going to be absolutely nails down at 70 and 157) 74kg: Cameron steed (I've been high on steed for awhile he got hurt this year and the open was his first comp back. He lost on criteria early to Hanson but stormed back to take third I think with another month to train and having his footing back in competition he wins the entire thing) 79kg: Gabe Arnold (too positionally sound) 86kg: Sinclair 92kg: Mirasola 97kg: Mcdaniel 125kg: Ben Keuter but I think Sahakian could have something to say about it u23's 57kg: Greg D (I was between Poulin, Vince Robinson and greg ultimately going with greg because of his ability to get to legs and his par tear this weight will be fun. 61kg: Anthony noto (I have heard hes even better at free than folk and he made the finals and won in 22 at 57kg but Vito got the spot for taking second at trials) 65kg: Josh saunders (hes really good at freestyle) 70kg: Daniel Cardenas 74kg: Bryce Andonian 79kg: Lenny pinto (his gas tank concerns me sucking what I would assume is a ton of weight but I also don't know how anyone can hand fight with him or get by his hips) 86kg: Brayden thompson ( a bit of a weaker weight here. Brayden has a lot of age level success going up in weight especially 15lbs concerns me a bit but hes similar to Arnold just super positionally sound) 92kg: Christian Carroll (I think Cardenas is the smarter pick since hes medaled but carroll has really impressed as of late up at 97) 97kg: Massoma Endene (Going with the D3 champ) 125kg: Feldman (I should pick greg I just did not think he looked good at trials I know he teched Wyatt but that was after Bradley doubled him off the stage which was about a 5 foot drop onto the floor I can't imagine he was feeling great and I love Feldmans rate of progression)

  7. do you need my social security and pin as well?
  8. Sending 3 guys would be awesome for us however having to deal with 3 russian + the 3 more that rep belarus + the 6 others that will transfer somewhere would be a nightmare.
  9. Yonger, Nate Taylor, toss in Jim mullen and Trumble if he goes heavy.
  10. Time for flow to start putting on some RTC cups.
  11. I think there is a pretty evident correlation between small guys that get bigger later in life and have more success as a result of having the technique and footwork of a smaller guy while holding on to some of that speed, and I believe that is evident not just in wrestling but in other sports. A lot of times heavier guys get away with worse technique because of strength or their opponent being slower and despite getting a bit faster as they lose the size its rarely to the same degree as the guy who has been smaller most of their life. Thinking of the best heavyweights today they were all smaller at one point or another. This is part of the reason I am so high on Dreshaun ross he has a build like Greg but maybe an even larger frame and more explosive at a younger age. I think Christian Carroll may end up being an exception to everything I just said though.
  12. Bryce did won bronze at u20's in 2021 and only lost r1 to the eventual champ from Iran 8-7 so he must be able to translate his style pretty well. He just lets it fly which I think will be a blessing and a curse for him.
  13. I may take whoever wins 61 out of davnino,Blaze,Hughes,Bailey,Larkin over anyone at u23's at 61 as well Bouzakis is probably my pick or maybe nagao although his leg defense was super uninspiring this past season but maybe he is tricky withs chest wraps or crotch lifts.
  14. blaze at 61kg Vega at 61kg (almost beat basset at 65 beat ben davino at super 32 last year Cornell commit) kasak in at 70... 157? kasak vs duke... drake ayala at 61kg nagao at 61kg Anthony noto at 61kg paniro at 70 Cayden Henschel 65 (big content creator d2 wrestles for Wisconsin Parkside seems like a great guy) Erik Gibson at 79 Cardenas at 92 will be a great gauge for Carroll Feldman and greg both at heavy jax;lilledahl;Knox;deluca;Castillo;Seidel (on pace to break the pa all time wins number) all at 57 with kilkeary as well
  15. 57kg: Arsen Harutyunyan 65kg: Amouzad 74kg: Kyle douglas Dake 86kg: Brooks 97kg: Amarpira 125kg: Zare
  16. I wonder how Angelo will deal with sitting for a year.
  17. I think I would rather have TB more lineup versatility I think he could maybe still do 157 but definitely 165-174 and I just really like how he progressed every year. He probably gave Mitchell his third toughest match last year.
  18. I'm excited to see Gunderson again feels like he should be the favorite after his showing at the LCQ which is kind of wild to say considering he has not been varsity yet. Also, very excited to see vincent robinson was a huge fan of his when he was in high school absolute freak athlete, and it seems like he's committed to 125 which is interesting.
  19. He's a big kid and realistically after his match with PK probably knows his best path is there so I would not be surprised. Plott seemed to really control him as well.
  20. I'm astonished hes still u23 eligible considering hes done with college I feel like you have kids that lose eligibilty for u23's after their r-soph year half the time now.
  21. they will start in on shots and then work backwards to their setup
  22. yes I think he split with Lilledahl and lost to forrest but he beat cruz who beat Richards so transitive property he could've been a 2023 world team member lol.
  23. are they out on Terrell? it seemed like they were his only option aside from staying at PSU if he was going to continue wrestling in terms of his grad programs.
  24. I think it can be partially attributed to the wrestlers, Ryan Jack and Camcho have underperformed at NCAA's seemingly every year. A singular instance this year but Andonian and Stewart were both certainly seeded lower than their skill level just given the amount of matches they had on the year.
