  1. Sometimes you just need to open the second bottle of champaign and see where the road goes. Some roads lead to Hersey, PA...
  2. If he doesn't want AINal then it's off the table
  3. It was more tongue in cheek because he's not going back AINal/ROC/Russia anytime soon given the political climate. He would have to sit out, at most, one worlds tournament but that is unlikely in the UWW digital age. Olympics is usually two years so if the paperwork starts by Dec. 31, 2025 then he could go back.
  4. Snyder will be fine but the world is going to be looking up. Bahrain is going to be less one citizen very soon.
  5. Hedge fund strategy? Hand foot syndrome? Home for sale?
  6. I know you're down on him in the moment but you just saw what the new guard did, right? We just saw the torch passed this morning.
  7. Snyder/Sadulaev for bronze. wtf is this world coming to...
  8. Lighter, faster, more offensive is exactly the formula he used in the past. The concern was he was too big and no longer as pliable. Brutal loss today but his opponent learned from quite literally the best in the world how to shut Snyder down. Snyder cannot find better coaching or a better room unless he defects to Dagestan. 2023 is pain and is displaying a drastic changing of the guard. Gilman out, 65 still a mess, Green gone, JB out, Snyder met his maker's maker, Steveson donzo/ Gwiz over the hill.
  9. John Smith and his records aint shit if there are only 6 weights fight me
  10. No one cutting or gaining is “the best.” The six weight handicap brutalizes the globe. 10 weights, 10ish pounds as in years past (until the good weights)
  11. Mathematical zero. He and Dake could not beat JB.
  12. well yeah, one is going 57 and the other 65…
  13. How is attendance in folkstyle world capital Coralville, IA for the World Cup? thank u next
  14. @gimpeltf I don’t know if you’re familiar with Ruby Rails, but I have spent all weekend smashing lines on two monitors with worlds on three TVs in front of me and I have officially gone off the rails. I should go to bed but if I can just stay up until 03:30…
  15. @LJB or @Husker_Du some elaboration would be swell. I heard grumblings about weighins but honestly equated it to whining… Now you’re throwing shots at Serbia/Micic… Happy to be convinced otherwise. Here’s to Micic weighing 74 tomorrow morning and 79 at match time…
  16. Hid it, adding to the correct thread now
  17. @gimpeltf my fault you’re right. Multiple tabs and switched back from an email and teams. My brain is fried after 18 hours
  18. To be clear, Zare is not a “plodder” in the dancing bear tubby-boy NCAA variety. He is Godzilla. I just meant he is slow and deliberate and (successfully) leans on his brute strength much like Parris did for a long time.
  19. Gable would have his hands full with Geno again now that he got a feel but would get a good win; Gable would have a solid Dake-type win over Zare, albeit would be down 2-3 points going into the second. Parris handles plodders like Zare but the reigning world champ has a motor, not a fat ass. I truly think, partially because of Father Time, Parris can beat Geno next time; I want to see him run the gauntlet though selfishly I want him to avoid everyone until the finals.
  20. What’s the story? I’m just unaware not stirring
  21. Dan Gable and Gable Dan
  22. Taylor and Yazdani
  23. Zare teched Geno a few years back too. Styles make matchups. Just ask Zare about the style of Mason Parris
