Another US resident supposedly popped for anti-doping violation
bnwtwg replied to bnwtwg's topic in International Wrestling
That's because I thought it was funny. I'll instacart you some beer and nachos tomorrow if it walks you off the edge duder. -
What kind of tournament will it be?
bnwtwg replied to Wrestleknownothing's topic in College Wrestling
I mean let's not go fulllllllll Fargo. Nothing worse than not placing when you lost to 1st and 3rd by 2 points combined and no I'm not bitter why do you ask -
Another US resident supposedly popped for anti-doping violation
bnwtwg replied to bnwtwg's topic in International Wrestling
If you are going to argue disingenuously, then what is the point of this? The point I raised in the Russia thread is that Americans shouldn't throw stones in glass houses because we have a very dirty past, present, and future and that wrestling is no different. The difference between Russia and USA is state vs. privatized, just like our societies. I provided a significant group who has tested dirty in the past 4 years and were suspended. It is a fair and logical assumption to assume, especially using the greco national team all popping for the same substance as evidence, that others associated were also using and either did not get tested or beat testing (this would be at the group/RTC, or private, level most likely). I also used a very prominent high level athletic group led by Alberto Salazar as a strong example that apparently did not resonate with you. -

You can beat a dead horse all you want, but in layman's terms Alberto Salazar was the CEO of Nike and USA middle and long distance running, and you can see all the pops through the years at a domestic and global scale. But you do you amigo. -
Fix is for some reason. Blew my mind too!

O/U is currently at 4.5 according to Vegas (Lee, Woods, Starocci, Brooks are favorites) I am taking the under this year and will gladly partake in a signature bet for anyone who feels otherwise.

I want to see the NCAAs look like Fargo

I don’t think you can find anyone better for the Matcast than Sparks, and I also agree that he would deliver top notch Saturday night interviews.
-
Pumped for more JB after his work at the Olympics. Not so pumped for his pairing but it is what it is. Sparks was really good last year on the Matcast. His high energy is awesome for what could easily be a long three day drag for many announcers. Perfect pairing. Bummed we don't get some combination of Rock, Robles, and JB at the same time. That would be a fantastic pairing... one day hopefully...

How do I watch individual mats, the Octobox, and upcoming assignments? Just like last year, you need an ESPN+ subscription. You may already have this if you have a Disney/Hulu bundle, or you may have it separately. I don't know if I have ESPN+ / How do I get a subscription? Click this link here Is it easy to cancel? Yes. Unlike some companies that support wrestling, ESPN+ is very easy to cancel after your three day nattys bonanza. How much does it cost? As cheap as $9.99 for a one-month subscription. You can also choose from the a la carte for an annual package or build custom bundles with Disney+ and Hulu What can I watch ESPN+ on? Smart TVs and smart sticks like Roku and Amazon. You can also watch from your computer. Can I watch on multiple devices? Yes! Last year I had 4 big screens and a laptop. My setup would make Jagger jealous.

Name your wager if they meet on the top side - anything from sig bet to donation. I’ll gladly take Carr. -
No, he was asked what winning the Big Tens meant to him and had the same reaction as Imar in 2018. He said "nothing much" because the implication is the only performance that matters is nationals not the conference. Clip starts at 12:16

*this message is endorsed by David Carr (2022) and Alex Marinelli (2019, 2021). I can see Keck losing to Finesilver, Salazar, Pinto, and Coleman. There is a drop from Brooks to Hidlay, and Hidlay to the field. But this is why they wrestle the matches - prove me wrong Keck! -
Great now I have to go pick RBY again in my Wrestlestat pick'ems

How many are not at Indiana or Purdue? My guess is only Parris, right?

Chances of 10 pins in NCAA Finals by Medicinnabon

@Wrestleknownothing are you emptying the clip now or do you plan to really drop the knowledge hammer as part of the annual twitter trivia contest? -

I think one of these sees their name in the consolation bracket when they go to the hotel Thursday night, in order of most to least likely: Keck Woods Bonaccorsi AOC -
I wouldn’t waste my time. Everyone has defeated everyone at some point. Parity as far as the eye can see, and I would not be surprised, legitimately not surprised, if anyone 1-20 AA’d. I think 6-10 have a realistic shot to make the finals too.
-
And if you say 197 then you better mean it’s going chalk which would be crazy. My guess this year is 157 goes kablooey. 1 of the top 3 seeds doesn’t see Friday night, 2 don’t see Saturday night, and at least two double digit seed AA’s.

I remember chuckling when he said that and thinking “surely he’s not going to seriously attempt to follow through on that after a couple years of growth.” But hey if he wants to shrink down then go for it. His body, his choice. I’ll take Dake by bomb and JB by double until proven otherwise
