That was most likely due to an inability to push hard cardio while focusing on recovering from major surgery to both knees. He is likely much lower than 137 now.
I've been high on Kharchla since leaving high school. Thought he was going to the the Next Big Thing for Team USA and have been waiting for his re-emergence since ACL surgery. It took him a long time to get out from a perceivably lesser opponent. That's all. Still rooting for him this weekend because I think he's special
Brady was riding Kharchla like a pony. Not sure if that speaks to Brady, against Kharchla, or if it just speaks to the fact that tOSU is the *worst* at getting out

I think Brooks is more likely than Yianni. Brooks is a machine and I am still shocked that he was upset this season. I expect to see him in the top 3, at worst, for most tourney points this weekend. He's a baaaaaad man
I was referring to losing to Brooks losing to Zahid. The seeding comment was that Brooks likely would have been seeded ahead of Lujan and Bolen. I believe Brooks would have beaten everyone but Zahid that year.
Brooks would have a silver medal in 2020 if it weren't for an unstoppable combo of covid and someone skiing the slopes of Rome. He was likely going to come in as the 2 seed over Lujan and Bolen so would have still made it to the finals, but an upset was highly unlikely that year. His 4th will come with an elite asterisk.
