  1. I am going to take the under on this one, but if it happens, K is a proven performer in the consi bracket!
  2. Do not root for Iowa or Ok State generally, but I do respect the investment and tremendous passion and work underlying their programs and wrestlers.
  3. All rounds are excellent, but it may vary based on who your primary team/wrestlers interests. For top 10 programs with returning AA's the quarters on may be the "best." For fans of teams building to get AA's and some NCAA wins, day one has as much or near as much of the interest and excitement. For fans of teams with no finalists, finals may not hold quite the same level of interest.
  4. I am not a Nebraska supporter generally, but Hardy has won me over to the super cool point of view. A lot of super cool wrestlers out there and we do not know all of their stories. Love his attitude and love to watch him compete - relentlessly active and inovative.
  5. Love in my heart - may the best men win and everyone stay healthy! Good men on all the teams and a lot of dedicated coaches.
  6. "Best" is hard to judge, particularly if you drag freestyle accomplishments during NCAA career into it. Among the most accomplished at collegiate wrestling - which already includes Starocci and Dake - do not think either makes the top 5 for most interesting. Yianni was more interesting as a great collegiate wrestler than Dake (who lost in a stallfest in the EIWA finals). Starocci is probably not in the top 5 of most interesting great PSU collegiate wrestlers. My own totally subjective criteria as to what is more fun to watch.
  7. may compete w 125 for wildest weight - thing about Mendez is he took 3 losses and two at B1G's (if I recall correctly). Seems vulnerable.
  8. Shane Griffith - really deft handling of the pending thresat to cut Stanford wreslting. He may not get enough credit for turning the tide. Impressive poise for a wrestler coming off the mat in the NCAA finals.
  9. This reminds me that I miss Sinead. Nothing Compares to You. Better than even Prince's version.
  10. I have been hit in the head too many times - you are right. Session 4 w semis is the one that should not be missed. Good call.
  11. in a shocker, Pitzer v Trephan NCAA final won by Pitzer!
  12. love the guy, but Hardy may be an elder statesman among the competitors He is fun to watch and not too much signs of aging!
  13. Jeez - if I could only be there for one session it is session 5. But true that the Market is awesome and worth trying to squeez in.
  14. Dunno - Harkins may take out Pinto
  15. have not seen McGowan much - interestiong opener w McCrone. Like to see Poulin come out w the mohawk he had as a youth wrestler - does he have much of a chance v Sprately - Spratley has one more loss and both have 20 wins
  16. Doubt he wants the 4 and probably no preference between 2 and 3?
  17. Guessing Michael Beard might be the most pleased by this - other half from AJ and Buchanan. Barr may not be 100% and wrestling up a weight and he knows he will have a chance and strategy with Cardenas.
  18. suprisingly tough path for all top 4 seeds - this weight could be a wild one
  19. Not too bad - but Ramos may have the better draw
  20. Stout v Stout in 2nd round - ouch Like the top 5 seeds!
  21. Seems unwise - would have to demand a redo
  22. Hardy is like Mitchell Mesenbrink in terms of fan interest - dude reliably creates a lot of action in interesting ways. Lille and Figs pretty fun too.
  23. fair enough - my bad - I will reallocate the blame for that boring match 100% on BB
  24. I stand accused and I'm guilty, baby I always will be.
  25. Saw that - Rohn was unstoppable with that move. Lehigh should have had Trenge suck down and he would have beatn Lambrecht easily and had Rohn bump up and take out Sanderson for his 4th title. Even Sanderson could not defend the Rohn cement mixer in Albany!
