  1. It's a satirical website. It's not something that really happened.
  2. I think the line is saying or doing things that go against what most people would consider civilized behavior. Like not handling criticism, telling kids and parents who ask for a reasonable accomodation for something that they are weak and should leave or other non printable things. Then when people on social media talk about them, interrupt and threaten to assault them. You know things like that. I had one now deceased youth coach threaten to sue me and send me harassing messages because I told him he was a conspiracy theory crank (which he was). Then he told me that he knew all of these famous wrestling people and he could do whatever he wanted because of that.
  3. I can't imagine why else he'd pay off a porn actress. Eliot Spitzer got shamed out of office for frequenting prostitutes and only got outed because Trump's best friend Roger Stone frequented the same sex club one of the prostitutes Spitzer had been with happened to work at.
  4. I'm pretty sure paying somebody for sex is against the law.
  5. The guy in Idaho who just ambushed and murdered 3 firefighters.
  6. Must be why he was secretly paying off porn stars into the 6 figures.
  7. How did anyone get into talking about reparations? I definitely think that it's something that should be looked at, but not just by handing out cash for past wrongs. Because racism didn't stop when slavery was abolished, and it even goes on into the present day whether you think so or not. The government, both federal and local, did lots of messed up things to set black Americans back.
  8. Channeling my Scouts Honor here. You mean Trump lied about having trade deals already set up?
  9. No but stop protecting people because they are a good coach or wrestler. People ignored Perry and his antics. It happens at all levels too. I know one highly regarded youth coach who was a complete psycho and I'm actually surprised he was allowed around children at all with his behavior. But a lot of his kids won so him being like that meant if you didn't want to be belittled and been subjected to his mood swings and erratic behavior, then you just weren't tough enough. That is more the norm than it isn't.
  10. They are subject to some laws, but mostly not. I know they are notorious for ignoring parking tickets.
  11. I didn't realize how seriously they took it there. Many years ago I was friends with somebody from Austria. And I made something of an offer color joke that referenced the Nazis. They turned white with shock and explained nobody made jokes like that and expressing those kinds of ideas is extremely frowned upon in Austria and Germany. Even if it is a joke. They take that very seriously. They don't have much humor about that at all because they view it as being a very tragic part of their history and want it to be taken seriously, not treated as a joke.
  12. Anyone who lives in the US is subject to our jurisdiction. Unless you know some kind of sovereign citizen loophole.
  13. In fact, in an email to FactCheck.org, James Pritchett, the director of public and media communications at the National Archives and Records Administration, confirmed that the Obama Presidential Center will be a “private entity” and “will not receive any funding from the National Archives.” NARA operates the other presidential libraries, but it will not operate the Obama library
  14. I've given up on expectations of rational behavior from the current vehicle house occupant and his minions. I'd have a mountain of paperwork to fill out and some explaining to do though.
  15. I'm curious because this could affect me since I wasn't born in this country. Hopefully sanity prevails and the supreme court realizes what kind of a mess it would create if they ruled against it.
  16. Anti government beliefs? His family basically disavowed him. His classmates they interviewed said he was into Nazi stuff and guns. I doubt we'll ever get a true motive but being into that stuff you might be able to guess.
  17. It's summer and going outside during the day is not a thing here. So here's several, well thought out reasons why a zombie apocalypse would be doomed to fail. If we're to believe that zombies are the undead, they are basically decaying meat sacks that are mobile. This doesn't make them immune from hazards or conditions. Like the weather. Because zombies would presumably lack the protection we have as living people, they would decay extremely quickly and dry out in extreme heat or would freeze and break down in extreme cold at a cellular level. Zombies also can't recover from damage. If one of their legs rots or breaks off they are much less mobile. Or if other things rot or break down, they have no way to fix it. Then there's humans. We're the apex predators of the world, and not because we are especially tough or anything, we have technology and have hunted animals to extinction. In order to feed/reproduce zombies have to go heads up with humans every time. It would be like if you wanted to eat you had to fight a tiger without weapons. That and biting people is a pretty bad way of spreading a disease, because it wouldn't take long to figure out who it is and shoot them in the head. Then there's nature. Besides humans, there are tons of dangerous animals out there who would love an all you can eat buffet walking towards them. And not just things like bears and wolves, tons of insects that wouldn't be impeded by defenses the living have would eat away at zombies. Also physical barriers. Zombies aren't the most self aware, so naturally occurring hazards like steep cliffs, rivers, lakes and other hazards would cull them. Getting into urban areas have similar hazards too, which brings me sort of full circle.... Humans are absurdly good at killing things. In this country alone we have several million members of the military, all of whom have at least basic marksmanship training. Then we also have several million law enforcement officers, them civilians who are hunters or own guns. Now imagine what would happen if we declared unlicensed open season on zombies? We'd be lucky if there were any left after lunch. We also have tons of weapons that if we decided not to send soldiers out to pick them off one by one, we have missiles, mortars, bombs, combat aircraft, etc that could kill hundreds at a time if they were clustered together. So this is why I think zombies wouldn't be a problem.
  18. He grew up around here and several news outlets tracked down his classmates who said he was pretty deep into Nazi ideology.
  19. The real action is on Bastille Day.
  20. He also could record one heck of a frozen peas commercial.
  21. What always bothers me about that movie was the aliens buried the tripods here a million years ago. Before humans were walking the Earth. You'd think they'd know what kind of bacteria and germs are on Earth already, but they just forget or something, and end up dying ridiculously because of their own stupidity. And it wasn't like their plan was all that complicated either, just shoot humans and grind up their corpses as fertilizer.
