  1. I don't think this is accurate at all.
  2. Hard to prove that. Trump should know all about bribes though, since he got busted and was found guilty for doing exactly that.
  3. Sounds like you should shower with Wally more
  4. So one wealthy person repays a loan? Shocking. I guess if it was Trump he wouldn't have repaid it ever and then sued them for saying in public that he didn't repay his loan.
  5. So you do have a brother named Wally? I assumed it was a crass joke. Who knew? Also very much on topic. Our president is supposed to be a person to admire and aspire to. Not be a convicted felon with a history of inciting violence, not paying his bills, and committing fraud. All of which have happened.
  6. How could they be against China since that's where his shitty merchandise is made?
  7. Apparently Trump doesn't consider Hawaii to be part of the US.
  8. My wife and I discussed leaving on Wednesday. Her family isn't here so if we did move, we'd be closer to them. We can't do it immediately, but in a few years we are going to look at the real possibility.
  9. A convicted felon being president who's main motivation for wanting to be president was avoiding responsibility for his criminal activities. Also his repeatedly stated plan to use his authority to take revenge against and try to cause harm to people he believes wronged him somehow. It sounds like you don't place much of a high opinion that people should face accountability. I've seen on Twitter you and your brother are quite close apparently.
  10. It's derangement to point out facts about somebody's shitty way of doing business and their history of avoiding responsibility?
  11. "Did you stop growing in 5th grade or are you standing in a hole?"
  12. First lesson in law school is to never piss off the judge in your own case. The Trump legal strategy is deny, deny, delay, avoid responsibility, and keep it up until the other side realizes that they're just going to waste their time. In a criminal case, they don't care. They'll just sit and wait for you because they aren't going to get bored or realize they may walk away with nothing like a civil case may go. His only strategy was to delay things long enough and hope he was able to get elected again to put this off due to long-standing tradition, not any specific legal doctrine. He is a grifter who lives on credit and whatever transactional goodwill he has built up, and much like how he has "done business" he has done in politics by making himself valuable in some way. In this case he's tricked people into thinking he's some kind of self made, tough guy, blue collar success when all he did was be born rich and have a wealthy dad who indulged him. I think that's what bothers me is the lying and avoidance of responsibility. I've never once heard him apologize or take responsibility. It's always somebody else's fault.
  13. The grift continues for him.
  14. Trump began his political career with a racist lie that he perpetuates to the present. I do not believe somebody who is lazy and dishonest like that has any admirable qualities as a person nor are they somebody who shows any leadership abilities. My biggest concern about this is that it is a poor example to kids and young people that you can lie, cheat, commit crimes, and take no responsibility for your actions. Trump has mostly gotten away with this because he was born wealthy and never really told no. His election just emboldens angry racists and hateful people. I had what I thought was a fairly innocent bumper sticker on my car and I still had my car keyed/scratched several times. A few years ago some clown tried to run me off the road and flashed a gun at me over a sticker on my old car. I sometimes run into people who now aren't afraid of saying stupid racist shit openly. It's sad but we are just going to have to hopefully get past this with minimal damage.
  15. I don't really watch TV, and most of the news I read isn't US based. So you are wrong on that. Also yes, Trump has found a way to bring the angry fringe people and validate their fears of things that will not happen ever. Like lying about immigrants, etc. This is a presidential candidate who straight up embraces white nationalists who make no bones about their dislike of various minorities. I don't even want to get into the havoc he will bring on the economy.
  16. I don't have any hopes for 2025. Electing such a monumentally unqualified person is going to have negative consequences for years. This is not going to be pleasant or fun. The sole reasons he even ran again were to get revenge against people he doesn't like and to avoid going to prison. Hopefully at least he is going to face some consequences, being a convicted felon is not a good look at all. Unfortunately he probably won't go to prison. Trump is a product of lazy anti intellectualism, people who cannot think for themselves, and angry fringe racists/xenophobes. He doesn't stand for anything unless it benefits him in some way. Get ready for a kleptocracy that is going to put the post Berlin Wall USSR to shame. There is nothing he won't say, do, sell, or take action on if it has a positive outcome for him personally. This is going to be like watching, in slow motion, a clown car crashing into a port o potty truck. It's worse than his first go around because now everyone knows what he's capable of and that people voted for this train wreck again is baffling.

  18. I turned in the ballots of 3 dead relatives and then voted myself today. I feel like I did my civic duty.
  19. He said he would flee to that beacon of fairness and democracy, Venezuela if he loses.
  20. Building a wall isn't going to do much of anything. I think we saw that clearly when some guy sliced through it in 5 minutes with tools you can buy at Home Depot.
  21. No it's causing problems then saying only you can fix them and nobody else can is a Trump thing.
  22. It would be nice if you could spell the thing you're trying to pretend you know about.
  23. I don't think dropping vulnerable people off in front of somebody's house like that is funny at all.
