    Has anyone else nominated for this position gotten so drunk they publicly ranted on about their desire for people of a certain religion to be killed? I'm sure there have been some really awful nominees, but this is one where having a guy who promises to quit drinking if he gets the job isn't a good sign. It would be like Donald Jr. promising to lay off the blow if he gets nominated for some job.

    Gambino family boss Francesco "Frankie Boy" Cali was shot dead outside his Staten Island home. That might sound like a normal morning in Staten Island, but this was the most high-profile mob killing since 1985. Naturally, the death sparked a media frenzy, with fears that a new Mafia war could erupt. But the truth turned out to be much weirder. The dude was killed by a QAnon believer. Anthony Comello pulled the trigger for reasons that would require several skeins of red string to explain.

    Because we elected a clown who is a convicted felon, so if that can happen, being a drunken idiot who has said and done *I poop my pants, don't laugh at me*ty things for years shouldn't be a big deal.

    To be fair, he doesn't really either. He just acts like it and lives on credit. Real billionaires despise him, the only reason they're crowded around now is because he has power.

    He's like a meth lab fire in a dumpster. Of course behind that veneer of "elegance" resides a trashy soul like those found on COPS. Think the guy who tries to flee from officers, only for the sound of his meth pipe jingling against his crack pipe to give away his location.

    Apparently there's a bunch of movements online to give him money on his books, or to help him pay for an attorney. I guess he's gone viral, by being infamous. I think if he goes to trial his best bet is jury nullification. If he has a competent attorney, all they need is one juror who got screwed over by health insurance somehow.

    I saw it last weekend. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. It didn't exactly fit the narrative of how things went, and there was a "Rudy" moment that never happened. But overall it was pretty good.
