I tend to believe Trump hasn't really read much in his life. During his first term he actually complained that daily intelligence briefings had too many words, and preferred to be shown graphs and charts that explained things. There's an outside chance he might even be functionally illiterate.

You have hearings with your lawyer present to discuss bail. Also how was the law misapplied?

What I think is funny is most Jewish people I know despise Trump because he goes against everything they stand for. So to them, him doing this under the guise of supposedly combating antisemitism, is just a crock.

I live near my alma mater, and there is a large Jewish population and student organization on campus. Literally nobody threatened them or tried to restrict them from doing anything. They even out out a statement that the university was doing a good job to avoid problems. The pro Palestinian protesters, like a dozen students got arrested and I think like half of them got suspended from campus. The chief of campus police retired rather than face trouble because he ripped somebody's hijab off. Now though? Business as usual. No protests or anything.

The only reason it matters to the administration at ASU is because they had a major donor leave and apparently several others who Zeke turned off have stopped writing checks. Again this is all second or third hand information. The consistent story is that some felt Zeke had run his course and wanted to shift him into something else, and go after a big name like Taylor. Zeke didn't want that and since the university has no reason to get rid of him, the people who write the checks couldn't actually force him out. So now we see what happened with Parco and Teemer leaving, now Figs, and Schultz almost leaving.

If what I am hearing is accurate, and this is from multiple people who are in different circles, if they bought him out it wouldn't come from ASU. Zeke isn't under the same scrutiny as Hurley is. UofA doesn't have wrestling, so there's not a lot of pressure to do much other than have an AA or more per year, and nobody gets arrested off the mat. It's really a sweet gig Zeke has, and him not wanting to leave is a sign of how good he has it.
