Wrestling seasons are tough and long… better to have everyone healthy for end imo. But I agree I want to see the best compete!

There are a lot of differing thought on the topic, but they days of wrestling 50 matches a season and through any injury that’s not life threatening are gone. These guys want to win NCAA titles and world and Olympic spots/titles. There’s not much to gain from wrestling with a tweaked anything in December….

I struggle to understand why this is bad for the EIWA? Are we saying they will not get AQ’s?

Ivy leagues are going to have their own tournament which will mean they are competing amongst themselves for NCAA bids. The EIWA is generally small schools without the name recognition. They will now compete amongst themselves for NCAA bids, taking out the ivies frees up spots for them to get more bids and get on the map more. I think this is great, as it results in more d1 college conference tournaments and spreads the wealth to schools that normally get spots blocked by Cornell, Princeton, etc. I see this as a positive and actually don’t see a downside.

Simply a typo. We don’t HAVE to hate flo this much.

Their workers are passionate about the sport, but flo is a business. I have nothing bad to say about them, but have heard a lot of the gripe. They are the only ones continually streaming everything, they have no competition so no need to elevate their game.

I think you see individuals who’s style is like that, but overall it’s not going to suit 30 guys to all wrestle like that.

I have no horse in this race, at the end of the day rankings are just rankings and the results are what matters. With that said, what is this methodology you follow that everyone keeps mentioning? Is it a legit “formula” or no? I’m a fan btw!!

I’m all for theatrics but I do hope that he comes back without drama and a better young man. mistakes happen but something like this situation is more indicative of poor character and decision making than it is making a “mistake”

Easy fix, let’s add a push out point. After watching freestyle more and more it just makes sense to 1.) mimic the international style and 2.) keep action constant and incentivize staying in the middle and banging
