  1. He’s a great guy and grew a lot at Purdue! Excited to see Boro get back on the map.
  2. I’ve thought this as well. His son works with missouri AA Daniel Lewis for wrestling, he has the money to fund a team himself lol.
  3. I grew up very close to ND. They are between 2 of the best clubs in indiana and centrally located between Michigan, Illinois(Chicago), and Ohio. sounds like some scummy business from the AD with the endowment. They should bring it back and they would have insane success instantly.
  4. This is insane, any article on it?
  5. Joey Gunther also trains at Lakeside BJJ as well as a former Purdue wrestler
  6. I thought he’d be at Okie state before, with the DT news I think it’s even more likely!! Go Pokes!
  7. what if we get to see one more JB and Chimizo match at non Olympic weights worlds? That would be sweet. it would be cooler to see in the Olympics. But their matches are some of the first ones I remember watching on YouTube about wrestling.
  8. Does Taylor coach at PSU in a small capacity working with certain kids? Or are you referring to people he trained at M2 before college?
  9. This sucks, but a wrestleoff would undermine Parris and cause a lot of commotion no matter the outcome. he’s turned his attention from int. wrestling, I don’t blame him, but USA wrestling cannot bend over for him just bc he’s down on his luck now.
  10. Whatever happens in this saga, there are a handful of giant names that can come lead programs in the next 5 years and that has me so excited. Burroughs —> Nebraska Dake—-> ?!? Taylor -> Okie State this year?! Snyder -> ???
  11. Here they are: https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/12504036-every-2024-us-open-u20-finals-matches
  12. Hi! Why am I unable to find the finals matches for u20’s freestyle? Can someone point me in the right direction as I don’t see them on flo in the brackets as having linked matches.
  13. I didn’t like that the interviewer just threw in other schools to his “top choice” let the kid say what he has to/wants to say. It doesn’t look good for Purdue, unfortunately. But maybe he’s just toying with us and didn’t say Purdue himself to make it a surprise…
  14. It would be a huge blunder to schedule them at the same time. Would cut the audience by 90% for the women. I’d follow both, but if I have to choose it’s men’s NCAA.
  15. Why do with think it’s not a great role? Is the pay low? Are they not given great resources? Columbia should have great alumni support for wrestling, given that they all probably make 50%-1000% more than the average college grad.
  16. Throw in some HS matches, a woman’s match or two, a Greco. You can create storylines and buildup. Catchweight, bring back some legends (Bo?, Askren has already done it for the love of wrestling), make it fun and worthwhile. Wrestling fans tune in for big, promoted events. This should be a yearly thing, minimum.
  17. With the limited amount of d1 Hc jobs, someone will want to take it on. Eventually the madness on their campus will stop.

  19. Any idea the pay they get for this?
  20. Amit is a DAWG. I’m so impressed by her, I was fawning on about her accomplishments to my gf during her matches today. She is going to be Americas greatest wrestler, regardless of style, before it’s all said and done. She is so physical and powerful, I only learned of her this year during u23’s, she’s going to be trouble for some time for domestic and international comp alike.
  21. DT is the goat, in his own regard. Brooks is just the next man up after an impressive career for DT. time waits for no man
