I’ve heard rumblings he at least considered medical retirement around the same time as Surtin announced his. Could still happen I’d guess, but who knows.
KOT and Hamati have only wrestled 1x to my knowledge at the all-star match. It was a couple years ago, but KOT won pretty easily based on the video. A lot has changed since that match with both improving. At this moment, I’d be 70/30 for KOT to win their next match.
Last years match with WVU, Peyton Hall gave him all he could handle, with KOT pulling it out close with about a minute left in the third and riding out. Hall almost had the chance to tie it late but to no avail.
Noah announces his medical retirement from wrestling today. Thanks for everything Noah, you’ve made Mizzou fans proud. Best of luck on your future endeavors.
Lots of things can happen between now and actually getting on campus to wrestle for a lot of high school kids. I wasn’t aware of the LR news, but hopefully as you said Mizzou is their final destination. I couldn’t imagine the recruiting process for these kids. Tough decision for any 17-18 yr old kids. If I was in their shoes being excited, I might have committed to the first team to offer me as well
Mizzou flips Antonio and Teeqavious Mills out of GA. Previously committed to NC State. Apparently following Crapps and Bambinelli. The more I read, looks like the whole Mills family are wrestling hammers.
My fear now, is the AWA pipeline to Mizzou is drying up. Wolbert, Wyatt Dachteu, Millard etc are going elsewhere. The addition of Taylor at OSU opens yet another option. We still got Sinclair and I couldn’t be happier, but selfishly I want them all
That’s also a good point. About those wanting to come over leaving. We’ll see how it plays out, all we can do. I would think to some of these guys just being in the room is enough, meaning they know they are probably room guys with an outside shot to start. Some have after college wrestling aspirations and just like PSU, OLY and world medals are more important.
Taylor taking the PSU route, pack in the recruits and the lineup works itself out. May the best man win. Those that are backups stay and get better or transfer.

here the link to the interview. I don’t know him, but he looks and talks a lot like KOT. I have to think Miz was ahead until coach Taylor came around.
He said in the interview that he and coach Taylor have talked about which weight, but with him being only a Jr nothing is in stone, but he did say that it will be one of those two. He said he would need to fill out more to get to 149.
