  1. Yes all rifles .223 and up are bad ass rifles not just the fancy AR15. Same rounds as the .223 hunting rifle. I would bet that doctor has not been a war or has even seen rifle wounds. Almost all gun related crimes are committed with pistols. Huge difference. The .AR15 is a .223 all dressed up. Yes it shoots lethal rounds.
  2. Great job on the researching. The recommendations are very good.
  3. We have close to the highest severe mental illness in the world. Question is why? Just in case you and others are not aware a ar15 is a.223 semi-automatic rifle. It is just a dressed up .223 hunting rifle. It looks bad ass. But a Ruger, Winchester or Remington hunting semi -automatic rifle with a 20 or 30 clip is just as deadly. It's just not as bad ass looking. By far and away most homicides are committed with pistols. Red flag laws that are strictly enforced would help a great deal. Maine only had flimsy yellow flag laws in place. That was a huge mistake.
  4. Saw a test with two f150 fords (EV and gas ) pulling identical trailers over slightly rolling terrain. They were supposed to go 200 miles and turn around. The driver of the EV put in the data for the trailer. The data said it could go 185 miles on the battery. With in a short distance screen read 118 miles. He stopped to recharge at 105 miles. While he was stopped the other F150 hit the 200 mile mark and turned and headed home. By the time he got home the EV was only charged to 80 percent.
  5. He is lucky. The tesla battery's can cost 20 thousand or more.
  6. Come on Husker tell us how you really feel!
  7. I was shocked by the numbers. This is really bad.
  8. What is even worse is having 13 million American adults with severe mental illness with any kind of access to a gun, car, knife, alchohol or explosives. Then you have around another 3 million teens (or younger) with severe mental illness having access to the above-mentioned items.
  9. Right now in America there are roughly 13 million Adults with severe mental illness. Wow. There are another 50 million Adults with some level of mental illness. (this is crazy). Right now in America there are roughly 3 million children (teens) with severe mental illness.
  10. I believe the red flag laws were a little too intrusive for their liking. I could be wrong. But they sure screwed up on that one. They did adopt a yellow flag law which obviously was a big mistake.
  11. Unfortunately Maine does not red flag laws. Not sure if they have yellow flag laws. To the best of my best understanding. Don't ask why they don't have them.
  12. You do understand you are not allowed to use facts when you are making your arguments. It's amazing to me how smart people can have such a blind eye towards the reality of the truth.
  13. Thanks . Thats a good start. What about the FBI going after parents at school board meetings.
  14. Well said . Thank you. Side note. Maybe the media should not broadcast 24/7 the horrific deadly crimes when they happen. Some if not most of these individuals actually want ( in a very sick evil way) this attention.
  15. Yes . We are already in the weaponized government ( DOJ,FBI, and the office of President) debacle.
  16. Define untrained educator.
  17. I will loan you a couple of grandkids short term. That should qualify you.
  18. He is to short to pay his debts.
  19. You can look it up. It is really easy to find. Its under Moore County Schools Parents Bill of Rights. I believe its more about allowing parents to do the parenting and the educators to teach reading, writing and arithmetic along with other subjects.
  20. The county where I live has a Parents Bill of Rights for their school system. Moore County Schools Parents Bill of Rights. Schools shall defer to parents to make the best social and moral decisions with respect to their children. This is part of what it says. Its easy to look up . Maybe someone can post a link to it. The teachers, the School Board and the parents were all on board with this.
  21. I should have been a little more explicit. In general, over the last several years or so. In the recent vote I wouldn't expect them to vote for a republican for speaker of the house.
  22. I have 5 children (all married) I have 14 grandchildren ( with one more in the oven). Home schooled, public schooled and college schooled . All the above. I hope I am qualified.
  23. Last question. Maybe you were just brought up to do the right thing because it's the right thing to do. Not so long ago ( 30 years ago) I was part of an organization (around 5000 people) that was all volunteer. We never once brought up politics. Everyone worked hard and worked toward a common goal. Did we agree on everything. No. But we understood the bigger picture. Its seems today for the most part that ship has sailed.
