  1. Thanks for posting. That was awesome.
  2. That is odd. The first quote is from @SocraTease not me. As for Steen next week, I have already said my prayers for his personal safety. After watching him wrestle twice I will say he is game, but boy does he lack horsepower. I have seen him get to a leg, but just not be able to get close to pulling it in. As a matter of fact, he repeatedly gave up points when he was in a much better position to score. Lacking horsepower against Spencer Lee is not an enviable position to be in. As a PSU fan, I feel Spencer Lee is appointment viewing because he is just so dominant and there are only two months left in his college career. As for Woods v Bartlett. Woods loves the two on one almost as much as Austin DeSanto loved getting to RBY's arm. I will be interested to see what, if any, tactics the PSU staff comes up with to counter that move. I do feel Woods is the better wrestler, but PSU wrestlers are better coached. One of my take aways from today's dual is that Iowa wrestlers do not have high wrestling IQs.
  3. @flyingcement guaranteed he would win last year. He is no longer guaranteeing. Regression.
  4. I am loudly in that camp. If we didn't have him we would have to invent him. Now that in no way stops me from busting his chops.
  5. I'm wondering if Cael Sanderson could withstand the 165 cauldron this year. Not prime Sanderson. Current Sanderson.
  6. Glenbard Nrth HS gets a shoit out, too.
  7. I feel like Woods shut it down instead of going for the bonus point. Hard to complain about a win, but I want to see first period Woods in the third period too.
  8. I was typing "Woods looking pretty dominant" when Zargo took him down. That TD is on me.
  9. If feels like Lamont lost this as much as Teske won it.
  10. Except Lee got the pinfall late in the second period.
  11. who is in them?
  12. Bartlett must be reading my posts.
  13. Where is it streamed/ televised?
  14. I am sure that is not the only result you got. And thank for not sharing the others.
  15. You are working very hard to get someone else to list the PSU guys. Go ahead, you can do it yourself. Its ok.
  16. Nick Ackerman was 38-4 for D3 Simpson College in 2001 and was co-Hodge winner along with a little known D1 wrestler that year. Ackerman beat Nick Slack, who was on a 60 match win streak, in the D3 final. Ackerman had both legs amputated below the knee as a child. https://www.win-magazine.com/win-awards/hodge-trophy/nick-ackerman-2001-hodge-trophy-winner/
  17. Fashionably late
