I wonder how much weight the wrestlestat algo places on most recent results? And of course Starocci's most recent five results were low scoring, compromised knee affairs. And the two before that were injury forfeits. This seems like a place to bet the over.

That exactly fits what the OP posted. He commented on Iowa's recent success in landing big name transfers in a way that he calculated would attract attention. And he was successful.

But as @Spencerlee pointed out, it is a hot take. DeSanto, Eierman, Lugo, Caliendo, Woods all place higher upon transferring to Iowa. So saying the transfers will place lower is the opposite of recent experience, aka a hot take.

Not saying 2/3 will out place their highest placement does not mean I bash them. So why bother?
