I feel like the ones referenced in your first paragraph are guys coming from "lower tier" programs (and yes I know how douchey that sounds). I'm talking more like a PSU guy to Iowa, Iowa guy to Okie State, etc.

Given the new era of transfers and NIL deals, it seems inevitable at SOME point we'll see someone do it. No offense to other programs, but I'm talking more of the Penn State/Iowa/Oklahoma State/Ohio State types here. The closest we've come in Nagao leaving Minnesota to go to Penn State, but Minnesota has fallen off from their peak (though they're looking great this year!) There were rumors over the summer that I may or may not have heard myself about Ayala getting offers. So are we at that crticial breaking point yet? I don't think we'll see any of those type of guys leave Penn State, but obviously a ton of speculation about some of their big recruits who don't appear to have spots in the lineup.
