Purely in terms of looking for best value on a bet I'd go..

125: Vent

149: Gaj

157: Robideau 10-1 odds. I think Robideau has just as good of a shot at winning this weight as anyone other than PJ Duke and has by far the best betting odds among other contenders. If Brandon Cannon is on there, I bet he is a massssive underdog and could be worth a sprinkle. I think he wrestles PJ Duke differently the second time around and it will be competitive, and if he wins there, anything could happen.

184: Ferrari - This seems to be an oversight by the oddsmakers. Sinclair at +150 and McEnelly at +175, and then Ferrari at +550 makes zero sense. I think the odds are way too low to justify a bet on Sinclair, McEnelly, or Welsh. I still think it's close to 25% odds of winning for all four of the big dogs, so getting less than 2:1 odds is terrible IMO. Ferrari at 5.5:1 is the only play worth while here.

I'm not touching the weights with the heavy favorites.

Whoever you bet on has to actually be able to win the tournament, and these are the only 4 picks that I think could reasonably with their weight relative to their odds.

Any bet on Kennedy, Zerban, or Seymour is waste of money. I don't care of it's +10,000. They aren't winning this tournament if they wrestle it 1000 times IMO.

Ya I'm not a good gamble.

Ferrari has to beat Sinclair, Max, and Rocco to win the title. I’d say he wins this weight maybe 10% of the time, especially considering he is injured. Wouldn’t touch those odds at all

I put $1k on Nebraska top 5 for a $322 payout. Good odds IMO

Also put $25 on Ohio State runner up at -120 for a ~$20 payout and Iowa $25 top 5 at +160 for a $35 payout

I'm not going to do it, but I feel like the safest way to make some money here is parlay a couple of the big favorites:

Van Ness (-240)
Mesenbrink (-700)
Barr (-700

three way parlay gives you -117.  Bet 100 to win 85.  But to me there isn't a huge risk there.

You're basically just betting whether or not you are picking Van Ness to win and getting slightly better odds because there is an unlikely chance that Barr or Mesenbrink lose. I don't want any part of living and dying with SVN in this bracket. I don't think he wins.

Sinclair has to beat Ferrari, Max, and Rocco to win a title. Are you saying that Sinclair wins this tournament 10% of the time? Or do you think Sinclair is notably better than Ferrari? Ferrari also didn't look limited when he would lifting Rocco off of the mat with a single leg. I think his health is just fine.

That's never stopped me. There's no such thing as losing. There's only winning and learning.

There's a betting app that has parlays?

Does anybody think AJ has a shot? He’s on the tougher side of the bracket, but he’s already beat Feldman…I’m wondering if Yonger not being a huge heavyweight…if AJ beats him? Trumble isn’t big either. Thinking at +330 it might be worth a couple bucks.

I like the Landon odds as well. And I think 125 has some good odds on last years finalists.

I don't think AJ will win, but I liked those odds so threw a little his way. I like Feldman even better at +1500 so bet on him too (before I realized they're both on the same side of the bracket. Ooof).

Hwt overall looks wide open.

I don't like AJ at basically 3:1. Do I think he could win. Yes. But I would want significantly better odds than he's getting. What would you give his odds at the Feldman match alone? Probably something like -110 if that?

I think the chances that AJ beats Feldman and Bastida should probably be around +330, and I think Trumble is the best guy in this bracket. I would need Ferrari at nearly double the odds to find value in the bet.

If you wrestled this bracket 10 times, how many time do you think Ferrari is winning? I'd guess he makes the finals 3 times and wins 1 time.

I bet on Trumble at +240.  I don't think AJ can win it all, basically needs to stall and get a RT point 3 times in a row, it might get him to the finals but I don't see that working against Trumble.

I got LL and Duke when it came out at -110, but I am tempted to hedge with Vent and Robideau with those odds.

I also took Angelo just because the +550 seems like too much value.

That's funny. Trumble, Vent, Robideau, and Angelo were all odds guys I liked as well. I mentioned Vent, Robideau, and Angelo in an above post.

If anyone knows how to do the interpretation, it's possible to compare these with Pablo probabilities now.

I know Pablo has a different look for 133

I would put Sinclair's chance lower than Max and Rocco, yes. That is a ~50/50 match. I would say his quarter/semi/finals matches are 50/50, probability of that is 12.5%. That is about the chance I would give.

Yonger has performed poorly at NCAA's, I wouldn't be surprised if AJ beats him.
