Same as any other forum. Niche or not. It's definitely not something to laugh at.

The combined billion+ of Chinese, Iranian, North Korean, etc. have an abundance of people eager to hack into every crack and cranny of US web sites. Big sites, small sites, and everything in between.

It used to be that only big sites were targets. Now, any site with a pulse is a target. The hackers grow like bacteria - they are encouraged and sponsored (aka PAID) by their states. And their obvious advantage is their numbers.

Whenever you read about "Cyber" attacks... that's that army of enemies. And, yes, they are already here, on this site.

You wouldn't be wearing a tin foil hat by any chance?

Didn’t China/the Chinese/someone? try to ddos this site for a week or two earlier this year?

China doesn’t care about this site yes that is correct but they are probably testing their hacking capabilities on bs web sites prior to the real / bigger ones

Yeah, I do not think he is that far off.  They are likely here, and not to push a particular agenda, but to create friction within American society.  I would think they'd be more prevalent within the "Non-Wrestling Topic Forum," but why not come on here as well.  Again, I don't think they generally push a specific agenda, other than to get Americans disagreeing with one another.

Last sentence, To get Americans disagreeing with one another! lol they came to the wrong site! Nobody here disagrees with one another.

I am not a Bot, I am Devo. Just a Casual Poster.

Sounds like something a bot would say if they wanted us to think they weren’t a bot…

Given the unbearable amount of ads on this site, I am quite surprised with our active this forum is.

and they added back a few reactions. I’m ignorant of tech but they did something to make it more user friendly. The ads were so intrusive at one point the forum was not enjoyable. Hey it’s always a good sign when management is open to suggestions from their customers.

Why did they remove them in the first place and they didn’t even add all of them back 🫩

I don’t know but I’m assuming they listened to those who wanted them back. That’s a good thing.

This is 100% happening and has ramped up significantly since the 2016 election. People literally get paid by the USA's political enemies to incite arguments on forums and social media (and build computer programs that incite arguments on forums and social media). It's well documented and coincides with the point where the internet dialogue got sour. Not every argument is a foreign actor of course but they have made it way more acceptable to be nasty to each other online for simple differences of opinion.

Brave Browser blocks 'em all for me! It blocks a ton of trackers and other web nonsense too. Great browser.

Anyone notice the small army of new posters this time of year.   Wonder what’s up with that.  Never seen before in these forums…. Even dating back to theMat.com

How do we know its not just a bunch of new bobburnerbots trying to increase ad revenue?

What would be the purpose of a burner on a niche forum like this? lol

for instance...so WrestleRash can talk about Bo Bassett's father's scrotal area..

If Bo Bassett doesn't ever do anymore than AA two times I will delete my whole ass account.....WrestlingRash sucks
