I am betting you see the full lineup.  Good matches but maybe not a close team meet as you predict.

For sure. Regardless of team score, the opportunity to watch Forrest (hopefully), Vega, Robideau, Lockett, Steed, Sinclair, Merrill…can’t pass that up!

I was there several years ago.  Great place to watch a dual.

How/why did OkState let Steed get away?  Probably pre-DT

He was a high school beast and has probably beaten every Cowboy he's faced.

Mizzou tends to recruit Oklahoma hard. I would say outside of the state, Oklahoma has put more wrestlers on the roster over any other state. We have 4/5 on the current roster.

I'm still on the Jax-gets-a-shirt train.  I don't think he will wrestle away again with only three dates left.  I think they will all be at GIA.

Ramirez is far from a pushover, and he is fun to watch.  He wrestled this weekend (unattached) in an old man's singlet that read "Fix 133".

But how many dates does Ramirez have?  Could be Fig if they dont want to use any dates.

Furthering that thought of keeping RR, I would rather see Sakamoto than Fig at Mizzou.

I'll be sitting this one out.  It's a long drive for me and I was in "cranky pants" mode all the way home after this dual 2 years ago, as a result of lineup changes and what I perceived as uninspiring coaching.

Tigers are going to get crushed but all I ask is the home boys go out and take the fight to the pokes, win or lose.

Sinclair vs Ryder if it happens Will and should be the highlight of the match. Would I be surprised if it doesn’t happen, not at all. They will see one another of B12. Seeding could come into play.

I know Northwestern got beat worse than Iowa but after watching both vs Penn State over the weekend, I'd much rather be a Northwestern fan.  Even though they were overmatched, they tried to win.   As a fan, all one can ask if maximum effort as you never know what can happen.

Chris Vargo beat Jax Forrest 13-7 at Regionals Forrest's sophomore year by taking it to Forrest.   Forrest teched him 15-0 the next week at States.  Maybe Forrest was having a bad day, maybe he was sick or had a bad cut but one doesn't find that out if they wait until 15 seconds left in the third for the first shot.

It is pretty well known that Forrest was very sick.

I’m gonna try to go into it with low expectations for the tigers and stay on the bright side of getting to see some of the young studs. Plus, I’m going to get a hotel and have a quiet weekend away from a house full of cranky women. That alone will be a win 🤣

He looked really sick when he won by pin 1:35 in the Semis that morning or when he went 1min pin and 3 min TF the night before.

If you say so? 🤷🏿‍♂️

I agree.  A guy who is sick will lose every match.

Never heard this. Vargo hitting a lucky 7 pt move and Forrest couldn't do enough to come back sounds like a reasonable result

When the fightin Comanche scores 25, songs will be sung and fables told. If this ever happens, rounds at Stonecloud will be on me.

I asked the question, then looked it up. I think he’s out of attached matches if NDI counted…but maybe it didn’t since I don’t think it was an NCAA event? If it did, he went against Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Little Rock. Then he was at the Cougar Clash (open tournament I believe, although he had 5 matches there too). Then soldier salute and Cyclone Open which I believe are both unattached.

All that to say…I have no clue how many matches he has left to keep his RS.

My guess now is that Jax doesn’t go, although I hope he does. I’d bet they save his remaining 5 for #4 Frost (ISU), #11 Ayala (Iowa), #16 Campbell (VTech), and #18 Farber (UNI) to get him the best tests.
