She wasn't driving "at him." He stood right in front of her vehicle. She steered hard right trying to avoid him.  

Probably yes? No. They aren't trained to stand right in front of occupied vehicles when making arrests. That's a dumb thing to do. He deserved to get run over.

He probably placed himself there to reinforce the idea that she was not to proceed forward.   So I'm guessing that is part of the training.   Only guessing, I have no knowledge.   But he was in front and she tries to get away by going forward.   She did turn the wheel but moved at rapid speed.   We need more information but murder is too strong of a word.   If he was going to kill her no matter what, then murder it is.   If he was trying to protect himself and others, then it was not murder.

I’ve got a question for all.  Can anyone see where the Leo was before she took off?    He isn’t really on camera until post shoot.   He may have been there prior to them stopping her no?

Latest report and from camera angle to the right side in front of car says/shows the officer was in front and impacted by the SUV.  Officer camera should clarify.

Barely grazed him at the most. He was walking toward the vehicle after he murdered her with not even a noticeable limp. Complete BS. Probably went to the hospital to strengthen his defense but we all know that scumbag is fine.

I already answered the question. Cars need to make a reasonable effort to avoid people but if they can't they can't. You have to assume that a car may move forward when you try to block it.

By the way, I got impacted by a car too one time that was driving very close to me when I was bouncing. I put my hands out to push myself away and ended up spraining my ankle as the force transferred downward. 

Didn't give me the right to shoot the person.
