Do you have a first round match you are excited about?

Not in the first round.   I'm anxious to see how Seth Mendoza does against Josh Edmond and how Teague Travis does against J Conway.  Maybe Mizzou has the opportunity to introduce two new/better starters.  There's no certainty they'll meet during the tournament.  If they don't one will clearly do better than the other to provide some insight.

I'm also excited to see how Travis does.   Edmond v Mendoza should also be a good one if it happens.

Hold on,....I just saw the brackets for the first time.  Easton Hilton (MIzzou) vs #1 seed, Nasir Bailey (Iowa) is of interest.  Hilton has looked pretty good in recent tournaments.  Also Dominic Bambinelli vs Bryce Hepner (#1 seed).   Bambinelli is improving pretty fast (as a true freshman).    All these are first round matches.

I'm hoping TT gets to face both VV and JW if you know what i'm talking about.

The same is true of Arnold regarding limitations. I think the outcome of a match between the two means very little. They can evaluate that in the room, but their styles and familiarity will likely lead to a very boring match that provides little insight into potential NCAA performance. Seeing how Arnold will fare against high-level opponents at 174 would be most useful. If he doesn't win this tournament, I doubt he'll get a chance to take the spot.

Interesting take. What limitations does Arnold have?

When does the next session of wrestling begin?

There is a round of consultation at 330 CST. Follow Mizzou 's X account.   They are doing a good job of keeping up with Mizzou results.

He's a defensive wrestler that often doesn't look to create his own scoring opportunities. This leads to close matches against top tier opponents as well as guys he should handle.

I think that was a result of being undersized at 184. Didn’t want to get trapped underneath. We will see once he runs into tougher competition at 174.

I hope so. I'm a fan (and wish he had gone to Mizzou). I'd love to see him get a chance. It's hard to say he'd be an upgrade at this point, but we have limited reference points. Again, I think he'll have to run through this tournament if he wants to make a case.

Is it on video? If so, following which match?

MP filmed it on his Tesla cam in the parking lot, downloading as we speak ...

After.   Looks like Ramos took offense to something Brands said.

Reminder. We’re all waiting for the steaming link for the psu starters at a Xmas tourney.  Thanks in advance
