Anyone else seeing interment issues with Cloudflare timeouts?   Admins?   It’s sloooooow

This is the error I get from time to time and it seems really slow.  Anyone else get this?   This is the only site I get this on so I suspect it’s this site

Yes. very slow. It is going back to sloth mode here. I'm in North Carolina. I am not seeing the Cloudflare. It started moving slow yesterday.

I had a typo but also just adding an extra line to be super duper serious that having a mutual agreement that forum frequenters provide income should definitely not have an opinion about their (in)ability to be productized

I knew Bob 1.0 (a little), we worked together (a little) and he seemed like a good dude.

I don't know Bob 2.0, at all. But he seems like a guy who doesn't care at all about any of us. (Bad customer service.) 

Here's the thing. This is not a Cloudflare problem, it is a web site problem here on intermatwrestle.com

From what I understand, there was a decision made at some point to put everything on the same platform (rather than separating the forum from the rest of the web services.) This was, is, and will always be a terrible idea.

For those of you who aren't tech savvy, it's the equivalent of putting all your eggs in one basket. Notoriously bad.

This place seems to have been hacked not long ago - and it hasn't been the same since.

Some baddies, like Russians and Iranians, like to insert themselves into web sites with APT's (Advanced Persistent Threats.) What this means is that they "persist" and hang around even after the host admins thought they had done a complete cleaning.

This seems to be the situation we have right here, and right now. Hard to know for sure, just an educated guess.

One last bit of advice - if the password you use here is one you use on other sites; CHANGE the password you use on the other sites as soon as you can.
