Marion was the fantasy darling, abusing lower opponents on the regular.  Kobe (who I never cared for, and still don't even after he died) faced Marion and we were expecting to see someone face him more aggressively and perhaps see a bit more parity at the position.  But Marion played the game with reverence for Kobe and never really challenged him.  Psychologically lost before it began

my main takeaway from the AJ match was one that Ghadiali is not that guy which I thought after the bastida match but also AJ may not be able to ride the heavies like he did at 197.
