I’d put a lot of money on neither of them finishing their college career in Blacksburg.

I'm not worried about it - sounds like they're assimilating just fine into Bburg

Carini is a great grab for 2027 as well!

If we’re including future clssses, 2028 will be on par with 2027. Also, the class of 2017 is imo a top 3 class of the TNT era.

2041 is supposed to be pretty good.

Definitely stringing together a few classes here and should be threatening for a trophy for a few years if they can develop them.

They seem to do very well with the developing aspect outside of maybe 197-285 as of late.

Yeah might need a new HWT coach in the room or an RTC coach for the upper weights but Tanelli/Frayer are great at getting the most out of the rest of the lineup.

Is ty walz around? that man struck fear into my heart from the nose bleeds as a child spectator when he was in college at nationals.

Unfortunately no, Ty Walz has been an AHC at Brown for a few years, ever since he retired. Jared Haught is working with the HWT's and to be candid if this year doesn't go well for Sonny/Mullen I think a lot of people will be upset.

Is 2027 Brands best ever recruiting class?  Below are some of his best classes throughout the years. I’d probably say it’s his second best class behind 2010, but it yielded only 6AAs with 0 finals appearances from 2 individuals.  That is the worst in the list.

2027: 3 Joe Bachmann, 8 Paul Kenny, 11 Israel Borge, 30 Sonny Amato

2023: 2 Ben Keuter, 5 Gabe Arnold, 22 Ryder Block, 52 Kale Petersen

2016: 2 Alex Marinelli, 19 Carter Happel, 25 Kaleb Young, 93 Jack Wagner

2012: 15 Nate Skonieczny, 16 Thomas Gilman, 20 Sam Brooks, 23 Cory Clark, 41 Alex Meyer

2010:  4 Mike Evans, 11 Nick Moore, 12 Josh Dziewa, 19 Bobby Telford, 31 Jake Ballweg, 74 Michael Kelly, 79 Anthony Baldosaro

2009: 10 Tony Ramos, 15 Derek St. John, 17 Ethen Lofthouse

2005: 2 Brent Metcalf, 19 Jay Borschel, 24 Joey Slaton, 40 Dan LeClere

Also Dawson Youngblut is in the 27 class ranked 30ish p4p

Definitely some good pick ups for the Hawks. Prior to landing Bo for 5mins and post Bo/Melvin debacle things were looking dire. This gets them back in the conversation for a team trophy in coming seasons.

Question though - are various braces and shoulder harnesses assigned upon commitment or only upon enrollment? Do they get them first day of practice? Is it all waiting in their dorm for them? Is it part of a commitment/official visit swag bag?? And how much did this cost Bob?? What kind of eviction numbers can Midwestern single mothers and sufferers of cancer expect in the next few years??

Also shouldn’t the NCAA investigate? I mean one program getting so many good kids at once, can’t be kosher right? We all know Iowa’s NCAA recruiting violation history…

I kid, I kid…good pick ups.

Good catch.  Flo has him #31.  Could be the best ever with him.  Probably more high end talent than 2010.  Amato might be under-ranked by Flo.  Willie had him top 10 before Super 32.

Somebody a wee bit upset that Bo and Melvin are better than the Bachmann's?

not in the least. just think its odd that the best thing since sliced bread is going to a middle of the road program. makes zero sense and speaks to their lack of a brain.
