Fact is that many legal citizens that are trying to find work will get shut out. Even the congressional budget office admitted this.

ACA credits expire so citizens will see an average increase of 15% on premiums the highest in 7 years. People on ACA plans will see their plans go up 75 percent. Dems want these credits to stay so people are not hit with high premiums

I read that some of these states say that if the federal medicaid funding is reduced, it will auto trigger reduction or cancelation of the state funded programs.

The Republicans in the BBB made this about illegal aliens when they reduced federal funds to states providing state funded health care for illegal aliens.

Democrats want taxpayers to pay for illegal alien health care as they already demonstrate today by having taxpayers fund it at the state level.  Democrats are mad about the BBB creating financial pressure that impacts how they fund illegal alien health care.

It is a lie by omission for Republicans to only focus on the illegal alien narrative.

You win the challenge.  That is not what I've been attempting to communicate.

I very well could be wrong with this second order thinking.  The republicans are using federal power via BBB to coerce states to reduce their self-funding health care for illegal aliens.  That is the effect from the BBB reducing Federal payments from 90 to 80 percent to states, with illegal alien state coverage, for Medicaid enrollees who gained coverage through expansion.  

This is the only practical angle I can find for why Republicans are angling this to be about health care for illegal aliens.

Without checking polls, I assume the focus on the illegal alien angle is because most citizens are against it.  If Republicans focused the narrative on lawfully present aliens, there would be higher resistance.

The CR is not fully "clean" either.   That's an exaggeration lie but relatively true.

When the republicans control the narrative, and most people trust without verification... this is an awful look for Dems.  

And it is actually bad of Dems to shut the government down here based on what both sides have said about time to negotiate.

It’s hard to gather information with ai depending on who fed the algorithm. For example a friend on this board posted a big ai cut and paste but the big problem was it claimed Obama was president in 2008. Some ai says Charlie Kirk’s assassin was left leaning, some say he was maga. There are no current guardrails for ai so just reluctant to search and see whatever the tech tycoon often day wants me to see. Right now google ai is blocking overviews of things such as trump and cognitive decline.
