I remember when Trenge put it out there that he intended to win NCAA's 4x.  There was some backlash re: a lack of respect/humility.  But first you must dream it before you are likely to achieve it.  Trenge had some bad luck and never won it - but he was a real contender every year and is one of three correct answers of the best Lehigh upper weights never to win NCAA's.  The two others (so far)?

Colin Kilrain (NQ-3-3-3) for sure.  You're probably referring to Mike Brown (5-3-2-7) as the other.  An argument could be made for 5x EIWA champ Jordan Wood, but he was never really a title contender.
