I believe he won the Olympics at 19 so I think he would have been 18 at world the previous year.

He was 19 for worlds, 20 for Olympics. Youngest in US history for both.

By the way... how many of you picked Zare to TF his way to a title?

He has two already.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Well... the semis, according to FLO's schedule, will begin at 1pm ET

Heck, they said the qualification rounds were to go from 4:30am to 12 noon ... it's 8:38am and the morning session is DONE.

Big wait for the semis, eh?

Wyatt struggled in WTT to beat people he had a massive size and strength advantage on. He’s a great Folk Wrestler. But Free, he needs time. Lots of it.

Overall, solid session for team USA. Really impressed by both Jax and Duke's performances. Valencia cruised as expected.

SEMIS

61kg Jax vs Uguev

70kg Kaiponov vs Ochir (need Kaiponov to win to keep Duke alive)

86kg Valencia vs Ghasempour; this should've been the final

125kg Hendrickson out

I was really disappointed that Wyatt went 1 & dun here.

The only person who can beat him in 2025 took the year off. Honestly this is not a surprising result at all.

really hope Kaipanov wins not only to pull gomez and PJ back in but also can you imagine those matches. Gomez vs PJ and then the winner vs Ochir. The amount of upper body exchanges would feed families.

Flo posted on insta that semis start at 12pm eastern.  Has there been a change???  Help.  Traveling.

Supposedly 1 eastern due to opening ceremonies today. But wouldn't be surprised. The extra mat really moves things along.

Until Parris and Masoumi enter the field next season.

Parris might have been a fluke pin. And that was in juniors, people jump levels around and after those ages.

Zare is looking like a terrible match up for Masoumi. Masoumi seems physically mature and Zare still handles him. Zare is kryptonite for some wrestlers. Gwiz would fold like a wet paper bag every time Zare got a hold of him.

Musukaev with the bad look on the mat and off too

Look at all that energy...

He threw at least two elbows and a punch in that match. Only cost him a point and had to go down.

Hmm... let me guess.

Aoyagi snatched Musukaev's pack of Marlboro's away and he was pissed!
