This . . . .this is a tough loss for the Beavs.  Greco guy who wants to focus on Greco so can't hold it against him but was excited to see what he would do against the field this year

Yep... tough to split your time training for your goal of being a world champ in greco and being committed to OSU wrestling  along with the education piece. Spot starter Charlie Hastriter will step in at Heavy and we will probably see some of true freshman Khale McDonnell as well.

Since they got Lamer, is there a chance him or McDonnell go 197 and Rademacher goes HWT?

I would be surprised if they went that direction this year.  Lamer is a 174lber...he was bumped up last year at Poly and pretty small for 184. Rademacher has the frame to put on more weight,  and with his olympic aspirations I could see him over the next 1-2 years bulking up to 230-35 (ala Snyder) in order to be big at 97kg. I think they will run with Hastriter/McDonnell at heavy this year, but it will be interesting to see what Rademacher does the next few years. On a separate note, Olguin comes back this year as well.

I hope so...he is still a little behind Coon and Schultz...but he is making gains. It seems we always have a few guys who win world medals and even world titles and younger ages, but we can never get them on the podium later.
