I've got 1 it's tied to my SSN, and if it's a corporation then he still needs one for his personal pay that the company pays him.

I am referring the to the individual taxpayer ID number (ITIN).  This is not for a corporation.  It gets issued to individuals that are not eligible for a SSN for tax purposes.

https://www.irs.gov/tin/itin/individual-taxpayer-identification-number-itin

Quote

What an ITIN is used for

An ITIN is issued by the IRS for federal tax purposes only.

An ITIN doesn't:

  • Qualify you for Social Security benefits or the Earned Income Tax Credit
  • Provide or change immigration status
  • Authorize you to work legally in the U.S.
  • Serve as identification outside the federal tax system

Who needs an ITIN

You need an ITIN if you have a federal tax purpose and you’re not eligible for an SSN.

Seems like a great way to get caught.

Over 3 million tax returns were filed with an ITIN for tax year 2023.  The vast majority of them are probably illegal immigrants.  If someone is here illegally there exist a few ways to become legal.  All of them have some requirement to show "good moral character" or something along those lines.  Some evidence of that is paying your fair share of income tax.  If an immigrant living here illegally hopes to get a green card and eventually citizenship some day then they should file/pay taxes.

If one were to set a priority to deporting those residing here illegally I would think serious criminals would be at the top followed by those not paying their taxes and way down below them on the list would be those who either entered illegally or failed to leave, but have been paying taxes for years.  If you were to prioritize those that file and pay taxes at top of the deportation list because they are the low hanging fruit then not only do you disincentivize the illegal immigrant population from paying taxes, but every deportation results in less tax revenue.

Regardless of what type of immigrant the person is, they must file taxes and answer to the IRS without fear. the IRS is not the department of immigration and will not communicate to the Immigration authorities about your immigration status, they only care about your obligation to file a tax return and pay your taxes.

Also people who make money in illegal ways file taxes. The IRS really doesn't care. I remember there was some guy who was a drug dealer who filed taxes and posted a picture of his tax return.

According to weekend at Bernie’s Joe Biden that was the case.  Guess he 🤥

It's very amusing that you are using two accounts to have a conversation with yourself.

Good try.  Glad you’re easily amused though. It’s typical for a libtardo

Damn it was easy to secure the border.

How easy was it to secure the border...

1st and foremost - the border still isn't secure. Migrants are still making their way across it EVERY DAY.

2nd - that (failed) effort cost taxpayers $165 billion - so, no, it wasn't easy at all.

In a time where our countries checking account is already overdrawn to the tune of trillions of dollars. Running up more charges in the hundreds of billions is just plain dumb.

It's just common sense that tells us this is an epic failure.

Politicians and other dopes are telling us it was some kind of success.... but it wasn't.

Throwing money at a problem to try to solve it never solves it.

That's what the Democrats used to try to do (and failed) - now it's the Republicans trying to do it (and are failing.)

Simply because that strategy will never work.

(Both parties realized it, and both parties responded the same way - declaring success. As if we're all morons.)

If both have failed, 1 failed way worse.

There is a reason why people that do illegal activity accept cash. You don't pay taxes on it and keep 100% of the profit.

I would be willing to bet an extremely small percentage of people that participate in illegal activity pay taxes.

Most likely. But remember, that's how they got Al Capone. Couldn't get him on murder or racketeering, but he didn't pay his taxes.

You might be right about a majority of Americans not caring about his namby pamby whining, but the claim that 64% of Americans want all immigrants living illegally in the US deported seems incorrect.  This survey by Pew Research found that only 32% of respondents wanted all immigrants living illegally in the US deported.

Often people want something, but they don't want to pay the price.  Deporting every person living illegally in this country would be a long and costly endeavor.  It doesn't make a lot of sense to try and deport 100% of them.  I think a majority of Americans feel that way and that's seen in the responses to Pew's survey.  The real number is about half of your quoted 64% and I think if a realistic price tag were attached to the question the number could go even lower.

Regular Americans are tired of the shyte

Something like 70% of the illegals Obama deported didn’t commit any additional crimes on top of being here illegally.  The outrage on the left is nothing more than I don’t like the giant orange man.

Did Obama follow the law when doing so? Yes. If not, they rectified the situation hastily. That you have a hard time understanding that means you’re either not intellectually honest(my guess) or not equipped to have the conversation.
wWhen in the history of America was it ok for masked agents of the government to arrest people, some of them citizens, for the crime of not being a citizen and have no repercussions? Answer 45&47.
The reason you’re rooting for a strong man is that you don’t want the burden of having to think for yourself. It’s messy I get it. You want them to punish the people you think should be punished. But for what? That’s the thing. You don’t even know. So you listen to dear leader and get mad at the people they tell you to get mad at. Cuz nothing unifies morons like a common enemy. Meanwhile they get rich before some of them inevitably go to jail. Which is how it always ends. Your station in life changes not one bit. But you’re convinced that you made a difference by making sure others couldn’t reach your level of success.

Trump is fixing it? How can you be confident of that. Kind of like he'd end the Russia Ukraine war on his 1st day?

OK. You keep believing that. If you've got faith, that's just what you got.

From where I sit, Trump hasn't fixed anything. All we hear is lies that he's done any of the sort.

Ukraine war is in a very bad spot, Gaza war is no better, inflation in the US is off the hook bad and looks to be getting worse, the tariffs are a miserably bad experiment, and the middle east is a much bigger fire than ever now that Trump sent US Air Force bombers to "obliterate" Iran's nuclear capability (even though, after all Trump's lies, it only mildly affected their progress.)

You keep thinking Trump is fixing it, and you keep believing in the Easter Bunny.
