What did I lie about ?

There are no examples of this. You can't provide anything specific and you know it.

Well, you typically don’t get fired if you make your boss look good.

This is the equivalent of a CEO firing the accountant when he tells the CEO the business is losing money. It does zero to fix the real problem.

Zero similarities. Wasn't fired simply for reporting bad news data. Not even remotely close. You're lying and you know it.

Well yes of course. I was referring to jobs numbers under Biden. Maybe this person’s reporting should have been critiqued earlier?

Plenty of bad news reported during Biden term. It's called inflation. Nobody fired for reporting it.

He issued a report bashing an Obama political supporter (also a blue city mayor) for misusing funds and was fired.   Totally zero similarities.   Keep on keepin on  boss.

Completely different from simply reporting data that makes economy look worse than expected. He provided opinions. This is just data. Nothing remotely close.

Americorps investigations

After its May 20, 2009 meeting that discussed Walpin's report criticizing the St. HOPE Academy settlement agreement and Walpin's forthcoming report questioning the validity of the largest AmeriCorps program—the Research Foundation of City University of New York (RFCUNY) New York City Teaching Fellows program, the bipartisan CNCS Board of Directors unanimously requested that the White House review Walpin's conduct as Inspector General.[7][8]

I think you're already on a long strange trip.

I wonder what would happen if they just waited for the numbers to update before releasing them. 🤦‍♂️

There is always a tradeoff between speed and accuracy. If we waited until everything was known 100% then it would take so long as to be useless. The problem is not the process, it is the politicization of the number. Virtually all economic indicators are revised all the time and no statistician had been fired for this very normal thing until the emperor was informed he had no clothes.

This is actually a big problem. By firing the messenger,it sends a message to the entire administration to not report anything that makes Trump look bad.

It's the worst of Trump's crooked bullying so far.

Fire anyone who makes public information available that makes Trump look bad. Even before reviewing the data, and without any mention to the public of how the data could have even been incorrect.

What have we learned was 'wrong' with the data? Nothing. Because there wasn't anything.

So crooked and so wrong, and (big surprise) was released late Friday at the end of the weekly news cycle.

This is Kim Jong Un level crooked stuff.

Which was the point. If you wait a couple weeks it reduces the politicization.  Sorry I wasn’t more clear.  🤦‍♂️
