Nice line up.   I didn’t include dates but they’ve all been in the last year and a half, December ‘23 was Rebelution.

I dragged my wife to hte BB King show in Honolulu after I saw him in Seattle.   Fantastic show in Seattle, it was great.   So I took her when we lived in HI.   He sat down for the show because of his diabetes, but the show was almost as good, again a great show.   She is not one for Blues, and I cannot call a BB King concert a blues concert, more of a jazz/blues concert.   Anyway, she enjoyed it and noted that she felt like she was seeing history.    His band was great to watch and listen to.

Yeah I bet that was a great live show.  The man can play!

I don't even mess with looking at concerts anymore. Everything is double the price if not more after all the fees and junk they add on. The one that gets me is the convenience fee. Don't lie, I am saving them money by not having to print the ticket yet they are still charging me to get my ticket electronically.

Sooo…..you don’t have an answer to the question?

I love going to concerts.   The Lynyrd Skynrd/ZZtop concert was good.   What I didn't know was the Outlaws was the opening act and they were playing while we were on our way to the arena.   We got there just as they were halfway through Green grass and High tides encore.  I love that song.  That got me in the mood for the concert.

ZZTOP was ok, not energetic, Billy's vocals were not very clear, his voice is giving out.   But his playing was top notch as always.   LS came out like they owned the place and gave a really good concert for having no originals left.   I saw them in UT with the survivors in 1987.   Allen Collins was in a wheelchair due to his accident and subsequent health issues and did not play.   That was a good concert.

I saw the Rossington Collins band in Seattle somewhere around 1981 or 1983.   That was a good concert!

I just love live music.  Even the little local solos and duets that go on the weekends, can’t get enough.   As for the concerts I listed, I was pretty happy with the total ticket costs.  Each worth every penny.

My last five, I’d like to go to more but I never realize until after the fact

Weird Al Yankovic - State Theater
Carrie Underwood - Wells Fargo Arena (DSM)

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Xcel Energy Center
Cody Canada and the Departed - Turf Club
AC/DC - Xcel Energy Center
Korn - Myth

Comedy Shows:
Greg Warren - ACME Minneapolis
Greg Warren - Some place in KC

Insert catchy tagline here.

Wish I could remember. I just thought I would throw my two cents in there about Ticketmaster and all the other thieves in the concert/event space. It's a damn shame you can't find reasonable prices for events anymore.

We’ll have to agree to disagree, for each of the above concerts I found very reasonable prices.

I guess I might have to travel to get a decent price. The only thing around here that doesn't involve ticketmaster, etc are the small cover bands that play at the bars.

Seen them a few times and always catch them on NUGS.  It's a throw down! No drums, just a stand up bass that you can feel compress your chest. Outrageous. If you ever saw, 'The Boys' it's like when Phil drops a bomb. It can change the rhythm of your heart beat. Tuned into BMFS in 2019, never looked back...

Garth was a great show. He throws down, It was a production.

Willie and Ol' Possum lead my country concerts Only because Hank Sr. died well before I could see him.

I'm tuning into Marcus King and he's a bad MOFO.

Tedeschi Trucks Band does it all great.

Elvis was my first concert.

Apologies boys. I rambled on...🎸

My first concert not until grad school was Dan Fogelberg.  My then gf put it together (she was from Illinois) 4 of us drove over to Champaign to see him at Assembly Hall.

My first time seeing Garth (think seen him 4 or 5) was before he was really big but was doing state fairs.  Saw him Hutchinson Kansas maybe only 2 to 4k in attendance.
