You will have to be more specific, I responded to more than one post here to you and others.   What are you saying still holds true?

People's perspective and thus the lens they choose to see things through.

The OP was about an eccentric author’s inartful response to a despicable human.  Realizing it was wrong, she deleted the impulsive message.  Left out completely, has been any discussion of the terrorist supporting Marxist, who used her ancestral luck to take advantage of everything she could from this wonderful country, and now campaigns for its destruction from her taxpayer provided platform.

Your words, which are more wrong, will likely remain, because you have no conscience.  Because you have never met Donald Trump, I’m going to disregard your opinion of him and consider the opinions of the people who have met and interacted with him.  Like Dr. Ben Carson and Hershel Walker, to name a few.  It’s easy for all to see that he’s made life better for lots of minorities, and they have in turn, responded with their support for him.

I read the speech. Honestly I don't see anything in it that calls for the destruction of America, or anything all that radical, besides calling for an end to colonialism. Which in the context of being Native American like she is, sounds like something that's been said by many others before her. And the truth is, the US government really screwed most of them over for a long time. Wanting the past wrongs to be corrected isn't too out of line. We did it, or tried anyway, after Japanese internment. We've made a half assed attempt with Natives.

As far as Trump not being racist because he hangs around other rich people? 😂 Ben Carson got where he is because he had a lot of help and support from the same social safety net that Trump, and Carson, both abhor. As far as Herschel Walker, Trump wouldn't have given him the time of day if Walker wasn't a superstar athlete. The guy isn't exactly the brightest bulb, the old joke about whether he could or couldn't spell cat if you spotted him the c and the t is a lot closer to reality than not.

I don't need to have met somebody to think they are racist. The very public past actions and public statements tell the story. Do I need to have met Strom Thurmond or Pat Buchanan to be able to have considered them racist?

As usual a grade A clown show post from a boot licking apologist for a racist criminal.

How was I not civil? I am not sure how you took that as being offended.   I didn't call any names, I didn't get personal.  You opened the door with people "like you", so I walked through that door and responded to it.   And certainly didn't say anything about 'getting into your feels'.

I think it goes to show that I am "equal opportunity" as you stated, but whether or not you like what I am saying dictates where you are going to claim my comments come from.  You have nothing to say about the points I was making, but are instead responding with 'feels' and being offended at a different perspective.   Maybe take a look in the mirror?  Or not.  Whatever works for you.

See bolded...that was what I was referring to when I said reread my post about perspective as it still holds true. That was all that my post was about is how people have different perspectives and thus look at things through that lens...right...wrong...or otherwise.  You think the things Trump has done proves he is a racist...that is the lens you choose to view it through....I personally don't.  I have never heard him say or do anything that would be like...yep he is 100% racist.  To me it is all typical political rhetoric/D vs. R/Trump hatred BS...but again, that is MY perspective...thus the lens I use to view these things through.  No further point or meaning other than that.

I hope he really likes his new country.  I think he’s moving to Mexico.

I believe he was born there. Lives here though. Hmmmmmmmm

Your bolded part was me referring to your response to me this morning, not your responses to me yesterday before everything seemingly came about being offended and due to feels. In your responses to me this morning you addressed nothing in the points I made, other than claiming that you laughed at the LA Clippers example because you agreed with it, but instead open some can of worms about being offended and all up in feelings.

Housing discrimination due to race is not a lens I 'choose' to view anything, it is recognizing the fact, that he was found liable for it, and then repeated the practice after being liable for it, and it is just one example of racism.  Recognizing comments and actions from someone is not choosing to view through a chosen lens, it is simple recognition. In fact I would argue denying it happened or pretending like it didn't happen is exactly that....viewing through a chosen lens.    If you don't agree with that, so be it.

So one could very easily crown you as prejudiced.  What you say on here easily puts you in that category.

Refusing housing because of race is racist now, and it was in the 70s as well  Repeating the practice after being held liable for it is even more so.  That is not ‘societal norms’

This could have been a purely business concern as mixed race neighborhoods and housing suffered in price and preference sometimes back then.  A situation you may be alluding to with this statement:

“May factor into these decisions, old dudes in speedos will take away from the view a little bit.”

Don't disagree with the premise, but the testimony from the employees in that particular case do not jive with that.  Nor does the testimony from employees in the separate casino case.  Further, whether or not I want to see an old dude in a speedo is a non-factor, being that the old dude in the speedo is not submitting an application to me to live next door. I have zero say in whether or not he moves in next door.   If I don't want to see that, I have the option to move out.

but the testimony

The testimony in this one would reveal you as ageist.

Which is just what I was describing by suffering in price and preference.

It’s not the age so much as the speedo, so I would say I’m more of a speedo-ist.

But look, if trying to use that to compare to a policy of racial housing discrimination,  to explain away the actions and be more comfortable with it, you’re welcome to it.  I guess another one of those instances of choosing to view from a chosen lens.

And your speedo wearing old man is like the bigot’s black eating watermelon.  Not all old men wear speedos and not all young guys should.

I’m only showing you how easy it is to invent negativity from a lazy, yet innocent, remark.  It can get a real polish when directed by an overzealous prosecutor.  The meme case was just overturned today.

Sounds like he could have used you on his defense team, maybe you should apply.

Stereotype-ist age-ist. As if all elderly European men wear speedos huh?  I’m guessing that’s what you’re hoping for though.

You’re still bothered.  You’ll be okay little fella.

That is a compilation of somebody's opinions, not an exact word for word of her speech. Also I'd argue that her calling for the destruction of America is more of a metaphor than anything. I would guess that it's on the same level as the "death to America" chants in Iran, that don't literally mean that, but are referring to US policies that hurt regular Iranians.
