Iowa fans can't wait to get rid of Tom and Terry. Spencer needs a change of coaching scenery. They can't recruit. Tom screwed over VaTech. You know where this is going, and I accurately predicted Bo to Iowa under the same semi-satirical logic.

TnT are going to VaTech after they wrap up their 20th season with the Hawkeyes. It's the ultimate reverse uno card for what happened with the VaTech Five.

Are you talking about the Hidlays at NC State?  They did get a podium finish out of their time.  And of course one of them just won a world title.  Not to mention I believe they were technically both ranked outside the top 10 recruits.

The only brothers to be 5x all-Americans...

Every one of Trent's losses on the front side was to Aaron Brooks.  That is bad luck.

And then there is Hayden and Nolf...

Crazy frontside losses! 8 losses to 29 NCAA championships on the front side.  that's an average of over 3 titles per loss.  Carr is the least credentialed NCAA loss of the brothers.

I watched that during worlds and showed my wife after explaining why is it hit even harder that weekend, said I hope our kiddos can grow up to be that way one day. 
 

It seems like every year a new layer is added to that interview making it even more complex, and why it is one of my favorite ever, sport or otherwise.

Great stuff, and you're right about the layers being added as he and Trent's stories continue.  I also love how he is complimentary of Kem.
