I guarantee I didn't google a soccer player, maybe that's why I didn't get your analogy.  That and I can't keep pace with these rapid fire posts.

Yeah...it wasn't my analogy there bud. It was another posters...

And why the hell did you respond to THIS;

Syria, lol.  I’m guessing @El Luchador is one of those “died suddenly” guys that thinks if some low-level soccer player in Luxembourg dies during a game that “it’s happening so often now!!”

Are you referring to Nigeria?

LMFAO... how does that make sense and HOW did you not get he was mocking you by making an analogy?

But yes, I know you can't keep up!

Strawman: you're always strapped and everyone knows.

Truth: I'm always strapped and nobody knows, not even my wife.

You're just being thick now.

You POSTING IT is how "everyone knows," and you claimed you NEVER said you were "always strapped."

You're doing it again! Like when you argued Pol Pot was a domestic terrorist threat! You're just digging! Put down the shovel... you're going not gonna be able to climb out!

OMG!! This is getting HILARIOUS!

When were YOU talking about Nigeria!

It was SYRIA stoopid!

"bringing Syria in to this made no sense to me." Meanwhile...the video you posted...!

Are you trying to be a parody of an idiot!

Why did you post this and then get confused about "bringing Syria in to this?

Lol, wut?

And now he just randomly posted a 15 year old video of Bill Maher and Hitchens.

I could never explain to people how stupid some of these conversations get! They are SO stupid and Scout/"El Luchador," which...I should warn you, not his real name(he felt the need to make that point a few times now) but I'd NEVER be able to convince people they were real!

Ok...you want to know what a Strawman is??

What...in the hell does THIS have to do with anything?

At the same time the friggin Barbary Pirates were taking slaves, we were JUST coming out of a War in which we'd spent hundreds of years using the Bible to justify slavery...so not only is this a "Strawman," the thing you don't understand but keep whining about, but it's the WORST possible one at that!

And I made a post specific to 62000 murder in Nigeria.

You want to try that again?

"I made a post specific to 62000 murder in Nigeria."

Did this happen in your head or in the real world?

By since YOU posted a video about Syria, why would you be confused someone "brought Syria into this?"

I mean, NONE of this makes sense as the original context was clearly Churches in America and our Media not covering it, but lets ignore that since you're trying to make a pont. Where was the Nigera reference...and WHAT the hell was it!

Your Strawman is limiting the discussion to America. But even if that's the case I showed you several videos of churches being attacked and churches violence in general.  Now tell me a those were covered by national mainstream media.

Let me help you with this. Of course I'm sure you're already familiar with it.

Any in America in the last few months?  And not a carjacking in a parking lot or some homeless people attacking each other at a church-run shelter.  My point in bringing up the soccer thing was you need to bring up other countries to find these stories because it’s rare in the US.

So...the "response that didn't post," and the confusion over why @1032004"brought Syria into it" when YOU were the one who brought up Syria is... because you acidentally posted the wrong video?

And you STILL clearly don't know what a STRAWMAN is!

THIS ISN'T A NIGERIAN CHURCH!!!

The ENTIRE PREMISE is that "Church attacks are common," and now you're just talking about places around the world where Christians are targeted...a point I ACTUALLY made PAGES ago.

I'm honestly embrassed for you right now!!

This is your Strawman?

Started with "Church attacks are common and the media doesn't cover it," to a story in which no church is attacked, it happened in Nigeria, you in your confussion posted something about Syria and then just THOUGHT you posted about Nigeria and mocked another poster for bringing up Syria!

I don't think the best writer in the world could write a schizophrenic person this well!

All right I’m listening to this since it’s not super long. Key points

-“attacks” are down 18% vs 2023

-Catholic churches, Synagogues and Mosques were disproportionately targeted compared to how many there are, Protestant churches were not

-80% are property crimes

-Of the 841 “attacks”, there were 23 deaths and 78 injuries. 2/3 of the injuries occurred outside (and some of those ones outside may not have had anything to do with it being a church)

Do you know how many churches are in the country?  78 injuries in a year from “attacks” probably makes them one of the safest places you can be
