Yes, because this is something that is very very rare for someone to do.

My first thought when I saw this this morning was how ridiculous it is this is top line news.

I agree. A speeding ticket making the news? Really?

yeah, I don't care about Shedour, I just saw all the fuss about the draft and had never heard of him so I was nonplussed.   But he appears to think he is the greatest thing to walk the earth, and this speeding means he thinks he can do stuff and not suffer the same as we would.  This speeding is not just regular going 80 in a 65 area.   He was +10.   Who does that?  Repeatedly?   Screw loose there or something.

Any predictions on his career?  I think he will flame out as he appears to be erratic in his behavior.

I think he'll do well. Sounds like he's pretty smart.

ESPN is reporting this is his second speeding ticket in the past month.  Also has a 91 in a 65.  He missed a court date for that one on Monday.  Does missing the court date suspend his license at least until paid?

No, it's not a mandatory court appearance. You just basically admit guilt by not going and lose whatever points were associated with the tickets.

The speeding ticket is...not a big deal. It was his attitude, telling front offices how he's turn around their franchise.

He should have been a late 1st, but...he was obnoxious. He could be a really good player though. VERY accurate passer and great anticipation.

Just needs to realize he hasn't done what his Dad did. He did have an incredible College career, but he isn't a great athlete and doesn't have great arm strength relative to other top QBs. But he is very smart... reading the defense and playing the game.

So...SOOO many young kids with cars dude!

And you must not be a CFB fan if you never heard about him before that?

He was a great College QB and my prediction is... as always entirely dependent upon what the Browns surrounding talent looks like.

If he was in the right situation, I'd say he could be a PB caliber QB. He's in the 2nd worst organization when it comes to developing QBs since the Sid Luckman, Otto Graham era. Only the Bears have been worse...and their QB(who similarly had the same type of stupid speeding tickets) appears to be the guy who'll finally break their curse(which sucks, I enjoy the pitiful Bears).
