Should they receive the federal funding to improve the infrastructure?

Will they receive it?

YES, absolutely they should.

Of course, the wingers would like to punish them because they don't worship Trump.

Even though they collectively seem to have no respect for their existing infrastructure?

Articulate why.   In your answer also address why they should be given bail out funds by the fed after they let LA and soon to be SFO burn.   Mind you I’m predicting the future.  Organized hateful riots will come to SFO shortly.  And other blue cities as well.   Chicago.  Austin.  NYC.   Etc.

Yes, and at Caveira's request, here are my reason's why...

1) This was already in the works well before violent 'protestors' started doing what they are doing.  Some of the federal funding has already been secured.  Because...

2) Federal funding has always been supportive resources for US cities hosting Olympics, to assist with needs in transportation, venue construction, and other infrastructure that is needed to turn an American city into a host for the Olympics

3) Hosting the Olympics creates jobs and brings in revenues for American businesses throughout the country, not just the host city.  Although within the host city it also benefits small local business.

4) This is not about violent idiots, political ideology, red state/cities or blue states/cities.  It is about an American city....ie the United States...hosting the Olympics.  And there is a lot that comes with that.

Personal vendettas need to be set aside. The recent protest violence and differing views on how to handle that shouldn't be part of the decision of whether to fund them for the Olympics. As Wrestling Rasta says, they should probably get the funding if that's normally what cities get. Personally, I'm not  automatically in favor of federal funding if only the local areas see the economic benefits but I'm saying that Trump needs to stop trying to use his position to punish people simply because he doesn't like them. Wingers shouldn't support that either. People that support this are acting like little kids.

It's actually a relatively very small section Los Angeles where this is happening.  Media and sensationalists are making it out to be more than it is.  That's not to say that there aren't some really bad things happening in this area, that needs to be dealt with (although I don't know if I agree with the Marines going in, the National Guard is already there protecting the federal buildings and what not), but there is definitely some sensationalism going on.  Not like the whole city is under siege.

Is it true they will be adding the rock throw, the molotov cocktail relay and synchronized flaming cruisers as new events for 28 Olympics?  🤔

This is organized and will get worse….. it will hit more and more cities.  I predict worse than the Floyd riots over time.  I mean the peaceful Floyd riots.

I think 16 cities hosting organized.  I mean totally not organized impromptu riots….
