So what to do the medicaid cuts actually entail?

My understanding is that the cuts are to illegal aliens and those who can work but choose not to and choose not to even do 20 hours a week in volunteer work.  These people do not deserve to be paid anything so they should be off anyway.   I don't think this should be controversial.   Can we agree this is not controversial?   Are there others being removed that might be more controversial?

Many many people will be disqualified because they don't properly fill out paperwork and in time. Many of them don't understand English very well either. I know this sounds like an easy thing for you and I, but think about the challenges that a lot of people have that are already on medicaid. Those same challenges will end up making the paperwork a major logistical hurdle for them.

I see that as no different than applying for insurance or a passport or renting an apartment or house or anything else.   The paperwork should not be onerous but should at least be able to show that you are eligible for the benefit.   I think this is a red herring.   If you are eligible for the benefit, you should be able to fill out the paperwork.   If not, there are programs that help those that can't that are eligible.

Glad to see you agree illegals and those that can but won't work should not be on the program.

The subject is the comment Ernst made regarding the medicaid aspects of the bill.   But the implication is that the changes to medicaid will kill lots of people.   That R's are blood thirsty.

Medicaid was not designed for illegal aliens nor for people who refuse to work.   So it is just getting back to where it was supposed to be in the first place.   That is what this topic is ultimately about.
